SELLING MY 1967 CHEVELLE. CAR RUNS AND DRIVES PERFECT.BODY WAS REMOVED FROM THE FRAME. THE FRAME WAS POWDER COATED SATIN BLACK. HAS 4WHEEL DISC BRAKES. THE FRONT BRAKES ARE WILWOOD RED D52s. REAR CALIPERS ARE D154 METRICGM STYLE. ROTORS ARE ALL DRILLED AND SLOTTED 11 INCH. HAS EIBACK 2 INCH DROP SPRINGS IN THEREAR AND STOCK MOOG SMALL BLOCK SPRINGS IN FRONT WITH 2 INCH DROP SPINDLES. HAS SUMMITRACING BRAND TUBULAR A-ARMS UP FRONT WITH BILSTEIN GAS CHARGED SHOCKS ALL THE WAY AROUND.THE REAR CONTROL ARMS ARE MADE BY PURE MUSCLE PERFORMANCE AND THE TOP CONTROL ARMS AREADJUSTABLE FOR PINION ANGLE. HAS A 1 1/4 INCH FRONT SWAY BAR AND A 1 INCH REAR SWAY BAR. STEERINGIS CONTROLLED BY A UNISTEER RACK AND PINION. THE STEERING COLUMN IS A TILT COLUMN MADE BY IDIDIT.THE PAINT IS EXACTLY THE WAY IT WAS WHEN I BOUGHT IT. IT LOOKS GOOD FROM 5 FEET BUT HAS DIRT IN THEPAINT AND SOME CHIPS AND SCRATCHES AND IS NOT THAT GOOD BUT PERFECT FOR A NICE DRIVER.LOOKS GREAT IN PICTURES AND TO THE AVERAGE PERSON. I BOUGHT THE CAR KNOWING THE PAINTWAS NOT GREAT BUT EXPECTED THE UNDERSIDE TO BE BETTER THAN IT WAS. SO I REMOVED THE BODYFROM THE FRAME TO REPLACE A HACKED IN TRUNK PAN AND REPLACE RUSTED FLOOR PANS. I BOUGHTTHE CAR IN FEBRUARY AND DID NOT HAVE THE PATIENCE TO WAIT FOR PAINT BECAUSE I WANTED TO DRIVETHE CAR THE FOLLOWING SUMMER. THAT WAS 2 YEARS AGO. YOU CAN TELL THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER DIDINSTALL HALF QUARTER PANELS ON THE CAR IF YOU LOOK IN THE TRUNK.WHILE THE BODY WAS OFF THE FRAME, INSTALLED A NEW AUTO METAL DIRECT 1 PIECE TRUNK PAN, RUNKDROP OUTS AND HALFED IN THE INNER WHEEL HOUSINGS. USED ALL AMD REPLACEMENT PANELS FOR THE TRUNK.THE INSIDE OF THE TRUNK COMPARTMENT WAS SANDED TO BARE METAL EVERYWHERE I COULD REACH ANDSPRAYED WITH THE TRUNK PAINT THAT MIMICS THE ORIGINAL COATING.THE FRONT FLOOR PANS WERE RUSTY AND THE TRANSMISSION TUNNEL HAD THE NORMAL HOLES CUT FROMMULTIPLE OWNERS CHANGING BACK AND FORTH FROM AUTO TO MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS. THE FRONTFLOOR PANS WERE SEPARATED AT THE FACTORY SEAM SHARED WITH THE FIREWALL AND CUT IN THE CENTEROF THE FLOOR BRACE SO NO WELDS ARE SEEN UNDER THE CAR. THE OUTER ROCKERS WERE SLICED AND THEFLOOR PANS WERE REMOVED AS CLOSE TO FACTORY AS POSSIBLE. I ALSO WELDED IN THE CORRECT BUCKETSEAT BRACKETS. THE FRONT FLOOR PANS AND BRACKETS ARE MADE BY GOODMARK.THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR FLOOR PAN WAS ALSO REPLACED THE SAME WAY. THE WHOLE INSIDE OFTHE CAR WAS SANDED TO BARE METAL THEN COATED WITH POR15 RUST PREVENTION PAINT. ALL OF THEORIGINAL FACTORY SEAM SEALER WAS WIRE WHEELED OFF AND REPLACED WITH 3M FLEXIBLE SEAM SEALER.THE FIREWALL WAS SANDED TO BARE METAL ALSO. THIS CAR WAS AN ORIGINAL A/C CAR SO I MADE METALPANELS AND WELDED THEM OVER ALL OF THE FIREWALL HOLES. THE FIREWALL WAS THEN SMOOTHED OUTUSING DURAGLASS. THE COWL AREA WAS ALSO WIRE WHEELED TO BARE METAL. EVEN INSIDE WHERE THEWINDSHIELD WIPER ASSEMBLIES ARE MOUNTED. THEN THE WHOLE UNDERSIDE OF THE CAR WAS PAINTEDWITH THE POR15 THEN SPRAYED WITH BED LINER SPRAY.I HAVE STEP BY STEP PHOTOS OF EVERYTHING THAT WAS DONE TO THE CAR, TART TO FINISH. ALONG WITHTHE RECEIPTS FOR EVERY PART ON THE CAR.THE INTERIOR IS VERY NICE. THE HEADLINER IS NOT RIPPED OR TORN AND NOT DRY ROTTED. THE FRONT SEATSARE NOT RIPPED, OT TORN AND NOT DRY ROTTED. THEY ARE ACTUALLY REALLY COMFORTABLE. THE CENTERCONSOLE IS FROM A 68-72 GM A BODY. IT IS NOT THE CORRECT ONE FOR 67 MODEL YEAR. BUT IT IS WHAT CAMEWITH THE CAR WHEN I PURCHASED IT AND DECIDED TO KEEP IT. THE SHIFTER, HE CABLE, ND THE GEAR SELECTORGLASS WERE ALL UPGRADED TO MATCH THE OVER DRIVE TRANS. THE BACK SEAT IS DECENT BUT WHOEVER TRIEDTO RECOVER IT INSTALLED THE VINYL CROOKED AND THE SPRINGS ARE WORN OUT. I REPLACED THE CARPETWITH A NEW ONE. THE DOOR PANELS ARE AFTER MARKET REPLACEMENTS ALSO. THE FRONT ARM RESTS ARENEW ALSO BECAUSE THE OLD ONES WERE BROKEN.THE WINDOWS ARE DECENT BUT THE REAR WINDOW HAS SANDING MARKS ON IT FROM WHOEVER DID THE PAINTJOB. THE WINDOWS ARE NOT BROKEN BUT ARE SCRATCHED. NO CRACKS. AND ARE NOT HAZED OVER.I REPLACED THE SEAL IN THE PASSENGER SIDE WING WINDOW. THE WEATHER STRIPPING IS OK BUT IF I WASTO PAINT THE CAR, WOULD REPLACE IT ALL. THE REAR WINDOW LEAKS A LITTLE WHEN IT RAINS. WHICH ISPROBABLY WHY THE TRUNK WAS SO RUSTED. SURPRISING PART IS THAT THERE IS NO ROT IN THE REAR WINDOWCORNERS OR THE PACKAGE TRAY. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO COME AND GET IN THE TRUNK AND HAVE A LOOK FORYOURSELF. THAT IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS I BOUGHT THIS CAR.EVERY PIECE OF WIRING IN THE CAR IS NEW. THE BODY HARNESS IS MADE BY AMERICAN AUTO WIRE. IT ISTHEIR UPDATE SERIES HARNESS. THE GAUGES ARE DAKOTA DIGITAL VHX SERIES WITH RED BACK LIGHTING.THERE IS NO RADIO IN THE CAR AT ALL. IT DOES HAVE AN AFTER MARKET SMALL UNIVERSAL HEATER MADE BYVINTAGE AIR. IT WORKS REALLY WELL. ALL LIGHTS WORK AS THEY SHOULD, NCLUDING THE REVERSE LIGHTS,DOME LIGHTS, AILLIGHTS, RAKE LIGHTS, URN SIGNALS, IGH BEAMS AND LOW BEAMS. THE FRONT TURN SIGNALSARE NEW ASSEMBLIES. THE HEADLIGHTS ARE THE H4 CONVERSIONS SO THEY ARE AS BRIGHT AS ANY NEW CAR. EVENTHE HORN WORKS.THE WHEELS ARE MADE BY RIDLER. THEY ARE THE 645 SERIES. THE REAR WHEELS ARE 20X10 WITH A 275-30-20 TIRE.THE FRONT WHEELS ARE 18X8 AND HAVE 225-35-18 SIZE TIRES ON THEM. THE TIRES ARE ABOUT HALF WORN OUT.HAS A 1998 CORVETTE LS1 ENGINE WITH A BP AUTOMOTIVE WIRING HARNESS AND FACTORY PCM.HAS A TEXAS SPEED 224R CAM KIT WITH NEW PUSH RODS, ALVE SPRINGS, IL PUMP AND NEW TIMINGCHAIN AND GEARS THAT WAS INSTALLED BY ME. MOTOR WAS TUNED BY BIG 3 RACING IN OHIO AND MADE 350 HPAT THE WHEELS ON A 95 DEGREE DAY. SHOULD BE MORE WITH COOLER AIR. HAS A 4L80E OVER DRIVETRANSMISSION THAT WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT BY ME WITH A TRANSGO HD2 KIT AND ALL NEWCLUTCHES, TEELS, IP SEALS, ISTONS AND SENSORS. REAR END IS A 10 BOLT THAT WAS COMPLETELY REBUILTBY ME WITH ALL NEW TEN FACTORY AXLES, UKON GEAR POSI, ;36 GEARS, LL NEW BEARINGS ANDSEALS. HAS A TANKS INC. FUEL TANK THAT IS POWDERED COATED WITH THE IN-TANK FUEL PUMPAND SENDING UNIT. FUEL LINES ARE PTFE LINE WITH ALL -6 A.N. FITTINGS AND QUICK CONNECTS ATTHE FUEL RAIL AND TANK. ALL OF WHICH ARE RAN INSIDE THE FRAME AND BOLTED WITH NICE LOOMSTO THE FRAME THROUGH PRE EXISTING HOLES. NO NEW HOLES WERE DRILLED IN THE FRAME. EXHAUSTIS CERAMIC COATED HOOKER CAST MANIFOLDS WITH 2 1/2 INCH FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS THAT EXITBELOW THE BUMPER.THIS IS MY PERSONAL CAR. I'VE TAKEN IT ON PLENTY OF LONG TRIPS WITH ZERO PROBLEMS. I LIVE INOHIO AND HAVE DRIVEN THE CAR TO MYRTLE BEACH, C, ASHVILLE, N, NDIANAPOLIS, N, HARLOTTE, C,AND MULTIPLE TRIPS TO COLUMBUS, H AND NEVER EVEN HAD TO OPEN THE HOOD FOR ANYTHING.
