Car description

I bought this Camaro about 8 years ago. The body is in almost the exact condition it was when I got it. I'm not a body man, ut I am a trained, xperienced mechanic and I have upgraded / rebuilt and restored quite a bit of the mechanical parts and interior on this car. The 396 c.i.d. Big Block Chevy (date coded out of a 1968 Chevelle) engine has been rebuilt (about 3000 miles ago) and has a healthy hydraulic cam, oller tipped rockers, EI ignition, delbrock carb and RPM intake on it. I suspect it's making in the 425-450 hp range. The entire 2½" exhaust system is Flowmaster (including long tube 1 7/8" primary tube headers) and (original looking) stainless steel tips. This car sounds perfect. Not too loud, ot to quiet. Perfect lope and throttle response and a fantastic ROAR at full throttle.New parts: Gas tank, adiator, elco Moraine brake booster with show quality master cylinder, elco R59 vintage looking battery with AGM (glass mat) internals and spring clamp cables, any new brake lines, ail lamp assemblies and rear wiring harness, runk latch, riple chrome bumpers from Heartbeat City front and back......on and on.....Rebuilt: All bushings / ball joints front and rear, riveshaft, ront and rear brakes, ilt steering column. I had the front seats repaired and zinc plated so they won't rust as easily. (See pics)The differential is a Chevy 12 bolt BV code (quite rare), .10 posi-traction. With era correct date codes. I don't know if it's original to the car or not. I don't believe the individual VIN numbers were noted on the diffs. The interior is 99% perfect. Just about everything in there is new. Steering wheel, irror, auges, ezels, ash pad, eat covers, eat foam, eadliner, pillar pads, eadrests, orrect "round" Hurst shifter arm, arpet, ail panels, tewart Warner "Green Line" gauges, oor panels, rm rests, indow felts, ind lace, oulding...on and on... About $5k worth of parts. I recognize the body has some issues. Not so bad that they can't be repaired, ut it's still a nice "driver" as is. I get many compliments on it at the local car shows . They are NOT structural, nly cosmetic. I will include all these steel body panels with the sale: (Left rear quarter, ear taillight surround, runk floor, eft & Right passenger floors, amp; Right side door skin). About $900 worth of sheet metal. (added later): OK, hat you folks in the Mid-west consider to be rusty and what we here in the South-west consider to be rusty is QUITE different.I've inspected all the areas I can get to with a flashlight and mirrors, nd I DON'T see any major rusty areas. I'm seeing like 5-6 small rust holes like the size of a dime or smaller. This body is TOTALLY savable. Again, ven if you didn't address these issues, he car still looks quite good and your feet aren't gonna drag the ground anytime soon.OK, ow all the particulars..........The title is clear and registration is current (expires June 2016).- Of course there is free local pick up, ut if you want to ship, ou must handle and pay for all those arrangements yourself. I will help the truck driver load the car, nd the car must be paid for in FULL, efore I will release the car. Speaking of which.....If you win this auction, ou will be required to furnish a $500.00 (non-refundable!) deposit within 24 hours at the end of the auction via cash or local bank cashier's check in person, r via Paypal....Then you have 7 days to pay the balance owed (or I cancel the deal, nd keep the deposit). Again, NLY once all the funds have been transferred and CLEARED to me, ill I then release the car and sign over the title. Sorry to be such a hard nose about it, ut there are some flaky car buyers out there. If you have 10 or less ebay points, r will want the car shipped outside the USA, hen please contact me with your information BEFORE I give you the "OK" to bid! 760-298-4027 If you are a scammer, on't waste my time. Move along. I'm privy to your ways and I will report you to eBay's fraud department. If you bid with the "Buy it Now" button, will throw in a huge box of NEW 1969 Camaro parts worth more than $1k!The car is for sale locally and on other sites, o if it sells elsewhere before this auction ends, reserve the right to cancel this auction.
