Selling my 1962 Chevy 1/2 ton short wheelbase fleetside factory 4x4 pickup. Not sure where to begin the truck has a rebuilt 283 starts and runs nice but does have a slow oil leak around the rear main that's driving me crazy. Has new brakes all around, actory drum manual. Has new paint inside and out, actory tu-tone Glenwood Green/Cameo White. Optional Full Foam seat newly upholstered but not factory correct, art of the comfortconvenience package (full foam seat cushion, eft hand armrest, ight hand sunshade, ight hand outside door key lock, hrome cigar lighter) also has optional day-night rear view mirror, ight hand armrest, eluxe heater, nd a working AM radio, nd 4-way hazard warning lights. truck has a new gas tank and NOS gas cap, ed has a new floor, as 5 new Firestone tires. The truck drives and stops as you would expect for a 54 year old truck. Please don't expect this truck to drive like your 2015 Silverado. You will bedisappointed. I'veresearched this truck quite a bit, couldn't find sales figures for 62 but in 65 Chevy sold 632 K10 Shortbed pickups, 0% of all trucks sold that year had large rear windows, 0% had 283's and 20% had radios, his truck has all three options which leads me to believe this is a fairly rare truck. Truck is capable as is but if someone were to make modern upgrades to the truck such as 73-87 axles with power steering and brakes. This would take the truck to the next level. Please contact me if any questions or concerns.
