Car description

1962 CHEVY Belair BUBBLE TOP, ou don't see many of these especially in this condition. This is a frame off restoration about 4 years ago and the car has been cared for and stored in a climate controlled garage ever since. The body is rust free and straight all the trim and chrome and paint is excellent. During the restoration the only thing done on the body was a trunk pan was replaced because of the trunk leaking and the water sitting on the bottom of the trunk other than that it was rock solid. The interior is in great shape and it has air conditioning that blows cold and hard. The polished motor is a 502 fuel injected motor that runs great and doesn't over heat. You can drive this car anywhere it is very dependable. The car was driven on the power tour from Detroit to Texas. The car sounds real good it has dual exhaust that runs all the way to the rear and has flow master mufflers. The car starts right up on the first crank like all the new fuel injection cars do and it doesn't leak or drip anything on the floor. The transmission is a 4L60E overdrive automatic and has the shifter in the floor. It shifts perfectly and looks like the old original 4 speed but its automatic. The car also stops great because of the front power disc brakes. The underside of the car is also very clean and painted black with original floor pans and cross members. I've owned 6 of these BUBBLE TOPS in 15 years and I can tell you they are getting very hard to find and are getting more and more expensive. If the car doesn't sell with this original look I'm going to pro tour it with air ride and Billet wheels but I thought I would offer it this way first. My first choice is to sell the car but I might consider a trade but I'm very picky. If you have a trade please send pictures to dadofcars@yahoo.com and call 330-353-0959. If shipping is needed I can connect you with a very good shipper I have used many times. I do reserve the right to end the auction at any time as the car is for sale locally. As always the car is sold as is and has no warranty. A 1,000.00 dollar deposit is required at the end of the auction and the balance within 5 days. Please call 330-353-0959 if you have any questions.
