Car description

Hi to all,Here's a nice Nova that is an excellent example of a car that was purchased & driven in California through the years, ot wrecked, bused, aken apart or driven in SALT. It's not new or a show car, ut a solid honest car that is 44 years old with all of it's original GM sheet metal panels intact & factory paint. Please read on if you are looking to restore / hot rod / pro street / or just drive an old original - here it is !KNOWN HISTORY: This Placer Gold Nova was purchased new in Southern California and remained there for most of it's life until coming to North Idaho where I bought it (about 15 years ago) from my neighbor who was the original owner's son. This car has been stored indoors since I have owned it and driven approximately 100 miles per year during the late spring & summers. I also have the Original Protect-O-Plate & Glove boxOwners Manual & Data sheet I removed from the rear seat (all included with car).PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE DESCRIPTION & LOOK AT ALL OF THE PHOTOS, T SHOULD ANSWER MOST OF ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. ALSO, AM NOT INTERESTED IN TRADING FOR SOMETHING ELSE AS I HAVE QUITE AN INVENTORY ALREADY. THIS IS A NICE OLD CAR THAT DRIVES & STOPS LIKE A 1971 V8 NOVA WITH STANDARD BRAKES. CLEAR TITLE IN HAND & IN MY NAME. >>>>>>>>>> SELLING "AS - IS" & "WHERE IS"This car started life with a 307 V8, urbo 350 Transmission, ower Steering, actory AC with standard drum brakes & Sandalwood Colored Interior. The original engine & transmission were removed by the original owner's son & installed into another car & soldbeforeI purchased this car. After buying the car, installed a new engine, ransmission, nterior, ustom wheels & tires and drove it occasionally. The only body item that has been removed to my knowledge is the hood to remove & install the engines. All of the rest of the body panels remain assembled as it was when it left the factory assembly plant.Fast Forward a few years...............................to July 2015 - I decided to part with this car - custom engine & transmission removed, eaders removed, heels & tires removed to bring it back to close to stock mechanical condition. Now this car has a recent (August 2015) freshened up 350 V8 - new rings, earings, amshaft & lifters, iming chain & gears, ater pump, alve seals & Electronic Distributor, barrel Carburetor rebuilt, tc. The engine is basically a stock 350 with a rebuilt 350 automatic transmission I purchased. The factory wheels, ub caps & old whitewall tires that were on the car when I purchased it 15 years ago are re-installed.The body on this Nova is about as RUST FREE as anyone will find since it has spent all of it's life on the west portion of the U.S. NOTHING HIDDEN or COVERED UP ON THE BODY !!Body Condition as Follows: PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS The Original Paint is very thin on the top & lower portions of this car & looks better in the listed photos than it does in person. The side paint is much better where it was not in direct sunlight over the years. The original owner drove this car over some fresh white line paint sometime in it's life and there is still some remaining splattered on all of the lower fender openings. This cardefinitelyhas patina currently & if someone repaired the dents & had new paint applied, his car would look sharp. Not too many stock Nova's running around these days. The trunk lid may have had a paint touch-up in the center above the key area as you can see a small area where the top paint is worn through revealing the same color underneath - factory repainted area? or ?? No other evidence of repainted areas on the exterior of the car to my knowledge. The body has small dents & dings here & there with the worst being the driver's side front fender lip where the original owner clipped the garage door opening. The only known (Rust ThroughArea) is on the same left front fender close to the bottom. The hood & trunk lid have light surface rust top & bottom from thin original GM paint.Under Hood Firewall / Cowl area - appear to be rust free - nice & clean.Trunk Floor - has Original GM Factory Trunk Paint with a few scrapes / thin areas where very light surface rust is present in a few places.Trunk Area Inside Rear Fenders - Great shape with Original GM Factory Trunk Paint.Original Jack & Hardware w/Spare Tire.Rockers & Door Jambs - both sides - some slight surface rust where paint is thin.Doors - both sides - some light surface rust where paint is thin.Entire underside of Floor -some light surface rust.Rear Fenders - both sides - some surface rust where paint is thin near bottom edges.Rear Wheel Openings - both sides - straight - some surface rust where paint is thin.Trunk Surround & gutters - rust free - some surface rust where paint is thin.Top - very thin paint - light surface rust. Here is a list of what has been done to this car since owning it:New Poly Sub Frame Bushings / bolts - sub frame not removed, ust loosened enough to install new partsNew Gas Shocks in FrontNew Air Shocks for the RearNew Brake Shoes & HosesNew Fuel PumpNew Water Pump - August 2015New Brass RadiatorNew Hoses (Radiator)BatteryNew Complete Sandalwood Interior Package (Seat Covers installed by local upholstery shop - new foam installed where needed)New CarpetingNew Dash PadNew Windshield (2015)New Dual Exhaust with "Flow Sound" Mufflers - nice sound, ot too loud - no interiorre-verbexhaust noise.New Rear Bumper (this month) - Original is available if wanted - has dentsUsed Very Nice GM SS 4 Spoke Steering Wheel installed (Original wheel was sticky & tossed)Here is a list of NEW / USED Items that will go with the Nova:New Factory Type Sandalwood headliner in Box with Sail Panels & Bow Clips (has good vinyl headliner now)New SoftSeal Door Weatherstripping in Factory PackageNew SoftSeal Trunk Weatherstripping in Factory PackageUsed - Extra A6 AC CompressorUsed Original Vapor Canister & TubingUsed Original Right ExhaustManifold - has CrackUsed Original Air Cleaner Metal Heater Pipe that connects the air cleaner snout to the exhaust manifold metal shroudKnown & Unknown Mechanical / Electrical Issues:Heater core condition?
