Car description

This is a very clean, nmolested, ow mileage 1987 IROC Z with the 305 Tuned Port Injection and Automatic Transmission. We've gone through the car and taken care of any known issues and it drives and runs as good as it looks. Significant history and paperwork come with the purchase including the original window sticker (also had a reproduction made for shows), wners manual, oth original sets of keys, s well as other history including receipts for the BFG tires it is currently sporting. Between the documentation and seeing the vehicle there is no doubt this is a true 21,880 mile car. Every time I take it out of the garage folks are in disbelief of the condition of this "antique" and once I tell them the mileage they understand why.To be fair, t is a 28 year old vehicle and does have the very minor road chip here and there and I've attempted to get pictures that show these but even with HD pictures they are almost impossible to see. You can rest assured that this IROC is the real deal. All body panels have factory VIN sticker on them indicating they are the ones installed from new! Many year correct components remain with GM part numbers and / or date codes that match including the spark plug wires (Still run in factory routing locations), oses, tc. The car will truly make you think you have stepped back in time! The upgraded custom cloth Gray interior is amazing with no rips, ears or cracks in the plastic trim. Cassette deck and EQ and all speakers are ready to crank some 80's tunes as you take to the highway!!To make sure it was running and driving right here is a list of the work done since I purchased the car: Replaced Fuel Injectors, uel Filter, obil 1 Oil &AC DelcoFilter, C Automatic Transmission Filter and Fluid, C Air Filters as well as the AC HEI Distributor CAP, otor, nd ECM. AdditionallyI replaced the OEM Volt Gauge since it was notworkingand all hood and trunk struts to ensure proper operation. We've even gone through and replaced any blown dashboard lights. Otherwise hoses, elts, lug wires, ppear to be from GM. I almost replaced the belts and hoses as well sincethey are 28 years old, ut figured since they do not appear to have issues, hat originality would be more important.I bought the car as "the one I had missed out on" when Chevy first started IROC production in 1985 when I was still in college. I had spent a significant amount of time looking at and understanding these Gen-3 Camaro's, ncluding the typical issues, otchas, nd problems that they have experienced over the years. I was convinced this was the right car at the time of purchase and once it arrived in North Carolina it was confirmed. I typically do not keep any car long so I had to be certain it was the real deal whenI purchased the car about a year ago out of Kansas from a gentleman who had owned it for over 4 years with 21K miles. He had purchased it with 19,104 miles from a muscle car dealer (D&M Motorsports) in Illinois who only putabout50 miles on it in their short time to find a buyer. The previous owner paid $12,800 for the car in 2010.The documentation included with the car shows a logical progression of mileage over the years and the Autocheck and Carfax are clean. This IROC was purchased new from Bill Jacobs, ldsmobile Chevrolet in Plainfield Ill. (This Chevy dealership existed until very recently when it was sold to new owners in 2015.) Based on the history report, he car remained in Illinois until 2005, ith yearly registration renewals and apparently no changein ownership. In fact there is an Illinois emissions certificate from March, 9, 005 which shows the odometer reading as 11,000 mi. just 10 years ago.The vehicle was eventually sold and registered to the 2nd owner in MichiganAugust2005 . A receipt from Discount Tire for the current BFG G-Force T/A shows the mileage at 14,202 when the originals were replaced on June 10, 006. In March 2010, he vehicle ended up for sale at D&M Motorsport, ack in Illinois where it was purchased by the previous owner and registered in Kansas March, 7, 010 with 19,104 miles. In full disclosure, ny vehicle that has been driven has some minor wear and although not very visible in the pictures, here are some very minor stone chips, nd one small imperfection in the hood which has been touched up as the car is USED and 28 years old, ot fresh off of the GM Assembly line in Van Nuys, A where it was built in 1987. It would be very hard to bedisappointed by this one unless you are looking for an undriven museum quality sample of an IROC-Z! Inspections in person or via a service are welcome and in fact encouraged to be certain the buyer will be 100%satisfiedwith the purchase. Based on other cars listed and sold recently on eBay with these low miles my Reserve price is exceptionally reasonable and is well below the buy it now price of $12,900.Please email with any questions, pecific pictures or other things that you may be interested to know or concerned with. I do not think you will bedisappointed but want to make every attempt to have a easy, afe, nd successful transaction for both parties. I've sold other vehicles either directly through eBay or because of the listing including a 2013 GMC Sierra SLT with 3,800 mi., 009 Audi R8 with 4,500 mi., nd a 2008 Escalade with 33,000 mi and all previous buyers have been astounded by the condition of those vehicles.Happy Bidding, o trades, ot interested in selling outside of eBay, tc.
