1980 Corvette L-48 - Low Reserve

1980 Corvette with matching numbers and low miles @ 55k.

Exterior: Dark Brown Metallic #47 - Interior: Doe Skin Leather #592

Very good paint and original leather interior. Auto trans, ilt/tele, ruise, /C, M/FM 8 track with power antenna, ower windows and locks and rear window defroster. The interior is in excellent condition with few signs of wear.

I have very complete documentation including window sticker, rochure, arranty pamphlets, wner's manual and the cardboard sun visor sleeve explaining the operation of the ignition switch and remote mirrors. Most of these documents have the VIN number written on them in the salesman's handwriting, hich match.

The car is now wearing BF Goodrich T/A tires on a set of 1969 rally rims with older caps and trim rings. I do have the original slotted alloy rims, hich are of course included. The BFG tires have less than a thousand miles on them. There are reproduction mats and owner's manual in the car. The originals are included. The exhaust is a chambered dual system that is stock appearing, ut sounds quite a bit better than stock. All stock hangers, eat shields and brackets exist and are included. The stock, eather wrapped steering wheel is put away and included. In short, ny minor modifications can be very easily reversed.

Under the hood is a 350 CI L-48 with a freshly rebuilt (original) Quadrajet carb. While I had it apart, painted the top of the engine and resealed the valve covers, hich were leaking slightly. All smog equipment is intact and functional and all vacuum accessories are undisturbed. Headlights work well and have halogen bulbs in them. All ignition and exhaust shielding is still in place and there is a K&N air filter element.

Other recent upgrades/repairs include O ring front caliper conversion, new battery, ransmission fluid change, new power steering control valve and fresh anti freeze.

Also included are a new, eavy duty car cover, IM (assembly instruction manual), ther shop manuals and literature that I have accumulated over the years, s well as odd new parts that haven't made it onto the car yet, uch as a set of ignition wires, ome hoses, tc..

This is a good, olid car with no rust issues. It looks fantastic right up close with good, eep shine to the paint finish. It runs and drives very well and has not been significantly altered in any way. All tags and markings still exist from the factory and the build sheet is still on the tank. Jack, ools and spare are perfect and the original T Top bags are in their storage compartments as they should be.

This car has very good panel gaps and fit in general. The doors and hood fit as good or better than any other car of this year that I've seen.

I am not sure if the rear defogger works and it has just come to my attention that the A/C compressor is not functional this year after taking the car out of storage.

A $500.00 paypal deposit is due within 48 hours of the end of the sale.

Transportation or delivery of the car after the sale is the buyer's sole responsibility. Also, our transporter will need to be able to handle another set of 4 wheels/tires.
