1978 Chevrolet Chevette Base Hatchback 2-Door 1.6L

1978 Chevette. I bought this a fem months back, found something else that I want topurchase.Due to lack of space in the garage I am going to sell this.I bought this from southernOhio, he guy I bought it off informed me this sat in a barn for several yrs before he purchased it.I have been driving since I bought it.Undersideis very clean,it appears thedriver sidefloor board was replaced at one time or another. Theodometerhas stopped at 69,xxx miles, o I cantverifythe truemileageof the car. The gasgauge seams to be stuck at 1/2, ould be that the float is stuck. The car came with an aftermarket gas gaugemountedunder the radio, long with a volt gauge.It starts right up, nce warmed up it runs perfect, hifts nice. Could prob use a tune up. Thespeedometerneedlecan be twitchy at times, nd make a clicking noise. But its old.Could use some new weatherstripping around the hatch,appearsto have shrunk a bit over time. Hatch can rattle a bit,don'tleak though. The passenger side door looks likelike someone ranagainstsomething, as a gouge running down it. Looks like thetailpipewas replaced in the past, till has theoriginalcat on it. Interior could use a cleaning, an tellit wassittingfor awhile. Have theoriginal window sticker, wnersmanuals, nd build sheet.Sure I forgettingsomething, ut ask away with any questions.
