Car description |
---|
This car has just under 140k miles and has been a sweetheart daily driver. It gets around 18mpg on the highway with the big Northstar V8, riding in comfort and style. It does NOT pass inspection, we're selling as-is, for parts or restoration.
It needs work. Here's the list that I know of:
The good stuff - almost new tires, new muffler on one side, alternator is less than a year old, and new plug wires. The thing still has a lot of power - stomp on it and it goes straight up. The body has some dings and the plastic has a few cracks - it's a 25 year old car.
And yeah, it leaks oil. Show me a Northstar that doesn't.
If you've been looking for a Caddie to rebuild or re-fit or go all street rod, this wouldn't take much to get into shape.
If you have questions, PLEASE ASK! I will do everything I can to give you as much information about this car as I can.
It needs work. Here's the list that I know of:
- Front end needs pretty much a complete rebuild.
- Emergency brake needs bracket work to pass inspection.
- Passenger door outside latch and locks need some work.
- The heater/climate control goes on when it feels like it. I bought the part that should fix it, but haven't put it in.
- It doesn't like to be wet. After a good rain, it runs rough until it warms up.
- Random sensors do weird stuff - oil level, pressure, stuff like that.
- Yeah, it has a dent on the front - see the photo. I swear I didn't do it.
- It seeps most fluids. Top it up and you're good for another few tanks of gas.
