Car description

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!!!

Fellow Regal enthusiasts, in a market dominated by classic collector muscle cars, the G-Bodies aren't exactly sought after. Therefore, you must WANT to drive a Regal, usually for nostalgic reasons. The reason I mention this is because although there has been some interest in this car, no one has been willing to step up to the plate and bid what this car is worth. While, I understand that as potential buyers, you want to win the item for the least amount of money, as the seller I won't settle for cheapskate low-balled bids.

I will not let this car go for anything less than the upper range of the fair market value which is considerably more than the $4300.00 max bid from the previous auction. If you REALLY want to get a deal done for this one, you're going to have to pay the price. The reserve for this car is set at a very fair amount for the money that it took to get this car to its current state. So, if it doesn't sell this will be last time that I try to sell this car on eBay before the holidays.

Unless you have personally restored an older car, you won't understand the point I'm trying to make. Resurrecting this car was very expensive, time consuming, and painstaking. You can't build a car like this for less than $10,000.00; I know because I have the receipts to prove it. Just for a stock accident free car, that is in relatively good condition (no rust, dents, bondo, AND has a working electrical system you're going to pay at least $1000.00.

Add to that just some of the features this car has such as:383 Stroker w/4 bolt main motor (long block) $2000.00; NewHolley 750 double pumper, Edelbrock aluminum intake, aluminum radiator; Interstate battery, high torque starter, HEI distributor, gas tank, w/sending unit, fuel lines, fuel pump $1245.00;New Hooker long tubes / Flow Master dual exhaust $750.00;Engine Stand DYNO and tune $800.00;New 700R4 transmission w/shift kit, 2600 RPM stall, cross member, and transmission cooler $2200.00;New rear sway bar, front coil springs/shocks, and front sway bar connectors $375.00;New paint $800.00;New B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's $540.00;New window weather stripping, tachometer (uninstalled), mini gauges, and old school cassette player $200.00.

Do the math and you're well into 9k territory for parts alone. Follow that up with many weeks of labor, shipping and handling, as well as the numerous associated incidentals, and you've broken into the 20k range. I have maintained a meticulous catalog of receipts every step of the way, so I can substantiate my claims upon request.

This car is not perfect, but it is in very good condition. It is a muscle car which boasts 383 Horsepower w/ 436 ft. lb. torque on the engine stand dyno. The car has only had two previous owners; AND they were related (grandfather/grandson). Most importantly, it is also an accident free car. It has 91k ORIGINAL miles on the body (NOT an odometer rollover). I have the motor vehicle history report as evidence. The engine and tranny have approximately 1350 miles on them. Good looking, powerful, and fun to drive, it can smoke the tires at will.

As the old saying goes, "money talks—bullshit walks!" Please don't ask what the reserve price is. Carefully consider the facts and figures I have provided as clues and if you're still interested, please bid somewhere within the implied ranges accordingly.
