I am a Classic Collector with a passion for great cars with class. I buy for my collection. but sometimes sell when I need room for more. Although this is one of my favorites. it does not fit in with my 50' & 60's cars. so I have decided to sell it to the right buyer. This car was privately owned for many years prior to my acquisition in 2014. It is my understanding that it has had a complete frame-off restoration and overhaul within the last few years. I have completely gone through the Buick and it is the real deal. The highlights are #1 Fantastic Paint (10) #2 Fantastic Interior. just like original #3 Engine Overhaul-Runs great down the road. I did not receive any documents of the restoration; however. that is why I did a total mechanical and body inspection. The details of my finding are listed along with the information that I had given to me:The Body all there. straight and no rust. The frame is well restored and adjusted to factory specs. New Brakes (less than 20 miles) and grease seals and fittings all check. Front end adjusted properly and steering wheel aligned to drive straight. Gas system has been flushed and cleaned from engine to tank. All the electrical system has been inspected and works well. (6 Volt) Starts quickly every time. Installed new wiper arms and blades. ( Motor works-needs tightening to operate. I am too big to get under dash)Root Beer Metallic paint is beautiful. It was painted at frame off and has paint in every spot on body that jumps out. Chrome is in good shape. some minor pitting on door handles and bumpers. Most has been polished out and is good. No rust or dents. Running boards are new as is rubber on them. Interior restoration is as best that I have seen. The multi-colored twisted piping is really outstanding. All glass is in very good condition. All roll up and down. The new small side windows are still tight due to new rubber. The dash is a matching wood grain that enhances the other paint. The car drives straight. smooth with gears shifting smoothly. (you have to push the clutch)The trunk is very clear with carpet. Vintage Tool box with original tools and Buick Shop Manual enclosed. The Tires are Firestones probably not the originals. but older. Some cracking on 4 1/2 " White Walls. Lots of tread. As is my policy. I change all fluids. grease and inspect fittings. connections and other mechanical specs. I only use non Ethanal fuels. The Buick is kept in my 72 degree building with my collection. I start each car every week. Drive when weather is good. I will answer any real questions concerning the Buick. I operate under the guidelines of E-Bay. This is a real find. If you find anything that matches the quality and condition. it will be over $60. 00. If you appreciate great vintage collector cars. you will like this one. Roger 903-885-6305 Teaxas
