Car description |
---|
Listed for sale is a very rare Buick Century with the 4.3L Diesel engine. This car is super mechanically sound and a very very rare car. I'll challenge anyone to find one in better shape or even at all.....
The bad first. The paint and headliner. The paint is a 5.5 maybe 6 out of 10. It looks great from a distance but it's age is showing. This car also suffers from the GM Headliner disease. The good news is that it's tacked up well so it's not a bother.
The good: Runs excellent, starts immediately when cold, no coolant loss, no major leaks. ALL options like AC and Cruise work as they should. Even the cutting edge manual AM radio and FM converter box. ;) I am including the CB radio and original 1982 Radar Detector for the true Time Capsule Car experience.
Here's the list of work I have personally done to this automobile since I've purchased it.
New water pump (not reman) included new mounting hardware.
New Serpentine Belt & Tensioner Assembly.
All New Engine Mounts. With almost 40 years on this guy they were in really bad shape so we went ahead and replaced them all.
New PCV oil cap and PCV filter.
There's probably more but you get the idea.
Although it drives great and I'm driving it approx 100 miles a day I do recommend tires before any long distance trips. They are obviously of some extensive age and could possibly fail without warning in spite of the looking great.
Any Questions? Please don't hesitate to ask, and resolve them prior to bidding. Bidding on this car is a binding contract through ebay to buy it.
Payment options as listed on site. Plain and simple rule. If you pay by any type of check transaction, be it Bank or Cashier's check or personal we will require a minimum of 15 days before the car can be picked up or shipped. There's no exceptions to this rule. Sadly there are just too many fraudulent checks of all types out there to risk losing a car and I'm sure you as the buyer can understand that.
We do not offer shipping, however we will be happy to work with your shipper of choice to get this car to you should you decide you'd like to offer this rare fellow to your collection.
