Car description

1980 BMW 320is E21 - Original Sticker - Many Receipts - 108,000 MI - 5-SPEED
The "S Package" featured Recaro sport seats, upgraded suspension components that included a rear anti-roll bar and a larger front anti-roll bar, a 5-speed transmission and limited-slip differential, cross-spoke alloy wheels, a larger and more extensive tool kit, a dual operation manual sunroof, an AM/FM Blaupunkt radio with cassette player, fog lights, a 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather shift knob, a front air dam, a "delete" of the alphanumeric 320i markers on the rear trunk lid and a limited color palate of white, silver or black. Just 2,500 320is's were produced.
The car is missing the OEM Blaupunkt, Front Spoiler and Fog Lights. I have a front spoiler that is a little banged up I was going to repair and install and the Fog lights are cheap and easy to locate.
The car still has:
5 speed manual transmission with overdrive.Rearwheel drive with factory original limited slip differentialRecaro Sport Leather SeatsSpecial 3 spoke steering wheelSuspension components
This car still drives well and has been tastefully modified with a Weber carburetor kit thatreally brings the 1.8L 4-cylinder to life. All fuel injection equipment is working and included with the sale of thevehicle. All windows work correctly. All lights work as they should. This vehicle is very clean for its age and showsminimal signs of rust with a spot by the drivers side rear tail light. This model has Polaris Silver paint that has been damaged from sun exposure andcould use a respray and very minor body work. It drives smooth and allgears work and engage as they should, although the shifter bushings could use replacing. Wheels are valuable basket weaves with acceptable tires but rears are snow tires as car was purchased in Colorado and has a Colorado Title.
I own (2) BMW 2002's and have seen many of these cars parted out; I wanted to save one from that possibility; especially one this clean with all the records of repair etc. I just have too many projects and hope that I can find someone that wants to enjoy this car and not its parts.
IF SOLD IN CALIFORNIA - THIS WILL BE CONSIDERED A PARTS CAR AS THE ENGINE BEING CONVERTED TO CARBURETOR WILL NOT ALLOW IT TO PASS CA SMOG
