Car description |
---|
I have for sale a 1973 AMC Gremlin X. This is a factory 304 V8/auto car that was originally equipped with a floor shifted automatic. It was swapped at some point to a 4 speed manual. This is a GA car, and is sold with a bill of sale only. If you require a title, do not bid on this vehicle. Factory color was Fresh Plum, still visible in some areas. The rear bumper and fuel tank, not installed in these pictures, are included. Engine will run, and there are no known mechanical issues, though actual mileage is unknown. Car is equipped with power steering, and has Hooker headers, an Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley 600cfm carburetor, and a Crane electronic ignition conversion. It also has Lakewood traction bars, and the AMC 20 rear end. It is also equipped with disc brakes on the front.
Known Issues- Car has some rust in lower parts of the quarters and doors (pictured); floors and rockers appear solid. Driver's side fender was damaged by the previous owner due to incorrect wheel studs for the wheels currently installed. New, longer wheels studs to accommodate for the thicker cast wheels will be installed before pickup. No back seat or rear carpet (all carpet needs replacement). Front seats need recovering. Minor cracks around trim in headlight area. Steering column is incorrect, and has no key (can be started with screwdriver). No keys supplied with vehicle. Driver's door sticks closed (can be opened easily from inside). This is a project car, but could be a reliable driver with very little work.
