1965 Rambler 220 Base Model 4 Door Sedan.Automatic Transmission, One BBL carter carb with manual choke. Will supply upgraded carb with automatic choke, will also supply upgraded upholstery for the car. It is AMC stock, but upgraded to the 440 standard, and changed to a green plaid in order to match the cars paint. With the exception of a few scratches/dings the paint is good to excellent. Rambler's received the deep dip rust proofing at the factory, then under coated prior to being shipped to the dealer. They are all steel, with uni-bodyframe construction. All lights, AM Radio, transmission work as they should, recent carb tune up along with brake adjustment. While the car has factory correct interior and paint, I believe the second owner had a professional repaint. This car was previously garage kept, and Carport while I owned her. Recently moved, she is parked in the open and deserves better. Obtained with 6K miles on her, now showing just over 11K.The interior drivers side of the bench seat is wearing due to age. The head liner is presentable, but starting to sag from being parked outside (Replace?). Some slight bubbling is apparent on the hood, passenger side, near the vent intake area. Rubber door seals could stand some replacement, which would cut down on road noise.Attached are numerous photo's, more can be forwarded to interested parties. I am only selling due to my inability to store her under a shelter. I grew up in Nash/Rambler/AMC with a love for the cars. I want to pass this car along to someone who take care of her as a show car. I have advertised her locally, this listing may be withdrawn at any time. NO WARRANTY is given or implied. Car is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS. I will assist the winning bidder with pick up, but all responsibility for pick up/shipping costs are buyer responsibility. Clean title will be forwarded AFTER funds are received and clear my Bank. Cash/US Postal Money Order/Cashier's Check for final payment. Initial NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $300.00 required within 24 hours of winning bid. If not, negative feedback will be posted. She is a beauty, with some TLC could easily be a show car. NADA shows a value in the 8.5K to 9K range. My insurance company inspected the car; providing me with 8K replacement value. My reserve is well below that in hopes a collector will buy her cherishher.
