Car description

1950 Willys CJ3A Nicely restored and ready for anything! This is simply a "very cool" Willys with a spunky personality and it will be more fun than the ATV you were thinking about! The seller was planning to use it for a "Northern Michigan summer fun" vehicle when his health took a turn and now it needs to be sold. It's ready for "show and drive" to the local car shows and cruise events and it's turn-key ready for exploring... oh, and YES... it's a JEEP!

On Oct-13-17 at 12:41:30 PDT, seller added the following information:

We are handling the Willys for an estate and unfortunately, we just have to do the best we can with limited information as the executor has nothing for us to go on. His other "toy" next to this one in his personal garage was an $80,000+ 1965 Porsche 356 and we could figure that (together with the history of owning a 328 Ferrari and many other interesting cars) he was truly a "car guy" and not necessarily on a small budget. I think he would have made a smart buy on this one ensuring the restoration was done well, etc. We are told his plan was to use the Willys for his home in Nothern Michigan when he retired. The overall restoration appears to be (guessing with experience) about five years old with limited mileage based on the weather in Michigan, it was apparently winter stored. No rust noted. The powertrain has no documentation as there was none found to share with the new owner. You are welcome to have a mechanic look it over for you of course.
