Car description

This is a "Turn Key" 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia with Camper pop up roof and kitchen. I am the third owner but I decided to sell it after not using it this summer. I owned it for 10 years. My family is getting bigger so I bought a bigger travel trailer for camping instead. The 1.9L engine was rebuilt 7,000 miles ago. We used to go camping in Michigan summers with 200-600 mile trips. Fuel Economy ranged from 18-21MPG with 4 speed Manual. You can hit 85MPH if you push but I drove 70MPH on highway and 55MPH on country roads.
We used it for weekend camping trips in Michigan 3-5 times a summer.

The new 16" alloy wheels and Micheline Defender tires have 350miles on them and you can still see the base of the rubber hairs on the treads. It drives much smoother and quieter than with the old 14" steel wheels.
I have the maintenance and upgrade logs since I owned it 10 years ago and they include:-Brake rebuild-Fuel tank and delivery system rebuilt-Rebuilt engine-Billet aluminum fuel rail and steel fuel connection to the firewall instead of plastic part that could leak.-New 16" wheels and tires $1500-New high torque engine starter $450-Tinted privacy windows except for the fronts-Patched right side canopy-New rear heater core-New front HVAC fan-New propane fill valve and bleeder-New water pump-Upgraded Alpine USB stereo and new speakers-Solar battery trickle charger-AC battery charger-I probably forgot some more.
Appliances are all in working order:Refrigerator works on both 120V AC and Propane.3 gallon propane tank is full. They say it will last a month with a normal use.13 gallon fresh water tank with working pump to the sink.2 propane stovesI did not use the Appliances for the last 10 years since we always took an ice box and Coleman stove to cook outside.
Others:-Privacy and bug screens for the windows-2 inches thick WV service manual
