1975 Volkswagen Super Beetle w/ sunroof - Classic (1600cc, 4 speed)

RUNS AND DRIVES WITH FACTORY SUNROOF

For sale is my 1975 Volkswagen Super Beetle with sunroof. It's powered by a Dual Port 1600cc engine, with a 4-speed manual transaxle. Atop it is a fresh 34 pict carburetor. It's a TON of fun to drive, corners extremely hard and gets 28-34 mpg highway, 40 mpg city on a 16 gallon tank. I'm only selling it because it's time for me to move on from it. It's also an incredible platform to build off of if you're looking to go fast.
Installed new parts, and labor is as follows:
Engine / Transaxle:
New 34-pict-3 carb, 120 main jet, 48 idle. Comes with another set of 127 main, 55 idle. Currently has no preheat tubes installed, but comes with a set of new ones if you're climate demands it. Pertonix flame thrower coil & plug wires. All engine tin, firewall seal (not installed, pictured), all fuel hoses, fuel tank, clutch cable, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, pilot bearing/gland nut, EMPI quick / short shift kit, urethane shift coupler, shift rod bushing, performance header, silent pack muffler, CV joints & boots, axles, fuel pump, transmission mount.
Interior:
Black carpet with carpet padding and heal shielding and sound deadening, speedometer cable, gauge cluster lights & sockets.
Exterior:
Fiberglass rear fenders, headlights, rear tail light lenses & bulbs, front signal lenses & bulbs, windshield seal.
Suspension:
New EMPI wheels & tires (with a spare, pictured) adjustable front strut towers, front & rear shocks, front coils, tie rods, ball joints, full urethane bushings all around.
Spare/New parts:
All new weather stripping (pictured, not installed), rear bumper, new front & rear seat belts (front installed, rear pictured), misc. metric nuts and bolts.
On top of all of this, it has a fresh 1600cc DP long block & transaxle with less than 700 miles since they were built. The car is already lowered several inches. Additionally, it has a freshly done alignment. It definitely needs some paint, but it's quite sound mechanically. Keep in mind, the heater does not currently work. Stereo does work. As of this time, it has developed an issue at idle most likely due to the aging fuel. Past idle, it runs very well and HUGS the corners hard! Clutch chatters a little in first from a stop. It's by no means perfect, but it's pretty great.
