Car description

This is a great running and driving Bug. And it should, because it has a freshly built 1776 motor with a Freeway Flyer tranny that shifts smoothly and makes this a rock solid power-train (less than 1K on it). The Bug cruises easily at 75 mph down the highway. Plenty of power and is quite peppy and quick. No pulling or vibrations at any speeds. With a Flame-Thrower it starts easily every single time (was rewired from the ignition all the way back). The fuel filter was relocated to side of engine compartment as a safety measure. Carb was recently adjusted. New Empi wheels and new tires (less than 1K on tires). New Empi exhaust (sounds great without being overly aggressive). New carpet kit. The seats, door panels and headliner were done a few years back and still look new. A nice new gas tank. New door mirror. New window crank. New luggage rack. Brakes are in great condition. Door and window gaskets in good condition. Glass is good. Lights all work. Glove box is good. Insured with Hagerty at a value of $17K. Gets lots of looks and thumbs up when we take it out for it's weekly drive. And everyone likes to share their own Bug story when we stop. Garage kept since we've owned it. The things that aren't good: needs working radio, ding on left side of front bonnet that was repaired by previous owner and it wasn't done expertly but we never worried about it because we love the car the way it is and it's not super noticeable (when looking at car from front), the paint looks good (it's a 10 footer)but is fade, and there is no spare tire. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better Bug for the money. We are asking less than what we've got into it. I see people asking 5K and more for Bugs that are rust buckets and have a rotted interior with a tired motor. Please message me with questions. You're welcome to have it inspected. Buyer to arrange and pay for shipping. I can store the Bug while waiting on shipping.
