Car description

Selling 1990 Volkswagen VW Cabriolet Karmann
I believe the car was originally from California
I have owned this car for about 10 years and bought it with around 60k. Currently has 129KThe car was garage kept prior to me and it was a fun beater with a heater for my kids. The car was mint at one point and time and could be with some restoration. It has some surface rust around the windshield, missing a gas cap, tires on front are fair, not great, the top is fair with some splitting in the crease area.
My son just drove this back from Virginia Beach to Indianapolis and it made it back. The front brakes were just replaced with new rotors. Rubber gas line replaced it was seaping. Also put cheap muffler on. I also changed the oil.
The car is not perfect, but it goes for no reserve! Please don't bid unless you plan on buying.
I am flexible on pick-up and would be happy to help from my end. I have the title free and clear.
Anything I get for this car is going to my son... You are more than welcome to take the car for a test drive during the bidding. We live in Zionsville Indiana

I am still putzzing on the car and wanted to give updates. The oil light comes on and appears to be the sending unit that sends the signal..basically the idiot light. When I got the car 10 years ago I replaced the oil pump thinking it was the issue, when all I needed was a new sending unit. Kinda of a bonehead move on my part for nothing. I changed the sending unit and it took care of the oil light for several years and changed one other time. It's a pretty common issue with these cars and it does not impact the running. If I truly had a low oil pressure issue it would be knocking or ticking...none of the above. I would rather call a defect as I see them.
