Complete restoration: Drive train- Exterior- Interior. New rebuilt 1969 engine (approx. 50hp). The following items are all new: front and rear shocks-master brake cylinders.-brake wheel cylinders.- front and rear brake shoes- brake lines and hoses- fuel line - SS headlight buckets- battery- outer chrome side trim- seals (inner/outer) front and rear wheels- rubber boots rear axle drives aftermarket muffler- five new tires- beauty rings- weather stripping and assorted products- accelerator cable- front park lenses- rear tail light lenses. Complete new interior, including head liner and carpet. Rusted areas cut out and replaced, bodywork and paint. The paint is Ford (Candy Apple Red). This has a 6 volt system, however the windshield washers and radio are 12 volt and run off a small RV battery. A great look and ride.

This stunning example is a true real deal low mile 64 Ghia, one of the most desirable years, that has been beautifully finished in red exterior and red - grey accent interior including the door panels - gauges carpets and headliner have all been restored to the highest specifications.
Impressively the car performs very well with great power through the 4 speeed manual transmission.
This Karmann is in show quality condition, the wheels are all brand new, the undercarriage is extremely solid and clean and detailed for show the panels are all laser straight. The chrome is mostly original and in good shape showing a little pitting, could be rechromed if you choose but not neccessary as it still shows very nicely
