RELISTED. WINNING BIDDERS,ONPREVIOUS AUCTIONLISTING DID NOT PAY AND LISTING CANCELLED

Original paint. Nice looking classic 60’s van. Great looking original VW front end, and original vintage camper interior.

- Engine starts, sounds good, and seems to run good. We drove it up the driveway and back a few times.

- No brakes! Van will not stop! Confident all brake components need to be renewed.

- Steering rotation and gear shifting seem good.

- Fuel tank is rusty. Needs replacement. We cleaned out as much rust as possible. With 2-3 in line filters the motor starts and revs.

-Rust:Front driver and passenger floor pan is rusted through. Affects foot pedals. Battery tray in engine compartment rusted through. Body along rocker panels rusted.Although bus is pretty solid overall.

- Side Door:Complete, works good, inside / outside handles work, and operates as a swinging door. Photo shows hinges installed for pivot. Very creative! The door slider / latch mechanism requires replacement and installation. The slider cover is with the vehicle. The allen head hinge bolts are fastened in the interior. Removal would not be difficult.

- Doors: Right, left, rear, engine. All ok.

- Interior:Complete. Windows undamaged. Furniture good and folding bed good. Sink, fridge, cabinets, cabinet latches complete. Wood veneer paneling shows age. Original roof cot operational. Pop top complete and functional but without cloth canopy. Dash complete. Operation of dash components unknown. Front seats complete.Original storage “ hammock “ canvas shelf instals over front seats ( see photo ).

- Electrical:Starter motor spins and starts motor. Headlight high / low, and windshield wipers work. All else no or unknown.
