Car description

For Sale, 1993 VW Eurovan MV van
I have owned this van for twelve years and love it but I need a newer vehicle.
It is in good overall shape and I have taken good care of it. I have all the records for the time I have owned it. It has a clear title.
It has the original "Bold Caribbean Teal" original factory paint color, in good shape. A little clearcoat peel on top of tailgate and on front bumper. The driver's side of the front bumper has scratches from where I scraped a metal fence. Otherwise the paint is shiny. There are a few dings, but no rust whatsoever. Overall, it looks really good and I get comments all the time.It has never been in an accident. All the glass is good, no cracks.
It is an MV model, which means it has rear facing second row seats (captain's chairs) and a folding rear bench that makes a bed. It has factory curtains that cane be installed to give the interior privacy if you are camping. The second row seats are removable. There are storage compartments all over the van. and a fluorescent light in back. It also has a folding table between the second and third row seats. It has an aftermarket stereo with bluetooth.
It runs and drives and handles excellent. I have changed the shocks and rear springs. It has a tight turning radius. It has the Audi 2.5L. inline 5 cylinder engine, which has had its oil changed regularly.
It has 16" steel wheels and hubcaps, on Khumo tires that have at least 50% of their tread left. It has a nice lockable roof rack.
I have had the transmission rebuilt (185K), and head replaced (190K), and recently replaced cooling system thermostat, housing, and hoses.
The A/C needs a fan resistor (fan will not work). It is equipped with rear A/C. Before the fan quit, the A/C worked fine.
The heater core is bypassed so it does not have heat right now. To repair, about $500. Otherwise, there are no known mechanical issues.
It have seven seatbelts and will hold seven comfortably, plus room for luggage behind the rear seat.
Power windows work fine. Central locking does not work (manual locking works).
You will need to pick it up in Charlotte NC.
