Car description

‎ NO RESERVE!All original, unmolested 1965 21 window bus, including original paint and numbers matching drive train. These buses are in high demand, consistently bringing well over $100k restored, and are extremely difficult to find in an untouched state such as this one.History on the bus goes back to when the previous owner bought it in the late 70's as daily transportation. He then parked the bus in 1985 in Richmond, VA, due to moving out of the country indefinitely.Ready for a proper full restoration, or with a little bit of metal, this could be an eye catching, outstanding shiny original paint survivor patina ride with a natural appearance that only Mother Nature can provide. The original paint has only been buffed, no clear coat andretains a beautiful luster smoothas fresh paint to the touch.

The bus rolls, steers and goes into gear just fine. The engine turns over but I have not tried to crank it.I believe the bus would run again with a basic tune up.The front and rear floors do need to be replaced.Rear package tray is nice. If you're looking to leave it original and enjoy, it wouldn't take much more than that. For a full restoration, the bus will also need passenger side rocker, dog legs, bottoms of the doors. The driver side rocker is nice, and the rear corners/batterytray and front nose are unbelievably nice and solid. The drip rail seam is nice, couple of areas the lip could use repair which would be an easy fix. The skylight window frames seem to be nice, inside rail could use some repair. Frame rails are very nice with no areas needing repair.

All of the doors and windows open/pop out as they should. The only thing missing is the rear seat, but the much harder to find original middle seat is still in place. The sunroof rails are all included, and also opens/slides nicely.

M code and vin plate are in tact matching the clear title and verifying it to be a legitimate 21 window Deluxe Samba.I have owned numerous deluxe sunroof buses through the years with this being by far the nicest unrestored one, don't miss out!

This is a true NO RESERVE AUCTION, rather than just a sales gimmick to build up hype with only the seller to have a friend bid on his own car.The bus is located at my shop in Danville, Virginia and is available at any time for inspection before the auction ends.I will be glad to send video or any additional pictures you would like of the bus through email or call/text me at 843 360 9871.I have described the bus to the best of my ability, but please don't hesitate to ask anything you would like to know. The bus is sold as is, where is, with no warranty.$500 deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of auction.Remainder of payment is due within 5 business days.If you have 0 feedback, I will cancel your bid unless you contact me before bidding.Good luck!
