1971 Volkswagon Karmann Ghia Ragtop

A very nicely restored, Alabama car, with a rare Ragtop! Nicely finished in "Italian Racing Red", with black interior,. Full new interior, except for sunroof liner, including Karmann Ghia logo embroidered on headrests, and custom red and black period coco mats. transmission professionally rebuilt as well as engine with Petronixs electronic ignition. All new brake components including discs and calipers. New shocks. 5 new tires on refinished original wheels. Includes original jack, tools and owners manual. No rust on underside, all issues (minor) have been addressed. This lovely example of Karmann Ghia was restored by a very fussy retired mechanical engineer over a 4 year period. I researched the ragtop and I believe it to be Webasto installed when new. The car has been owned by three adult owners from Alabama it's entire 46 years.The VDO clock has been replaced by a volt gauge to monitor charging, but the clock is included with the car. Everything works the way it should, and it drives the way it should with no issues. All restoration was done on a very original car.
