1972 VW Super Beetle Convertible

The perfect gift for the person who has everything or to put a smile on the face of someone special!It's a solid 1972 Super Beetle Convertible. It's not perfect, ut hey, t's 43 years old. First, bout the car. It spent most of its life with one family or a friend of that family. For the last 15 - 20 years it has been garaged and mostly driven in dry conditions.Structurally, t's very sound. The floors were replaced and are in great shape. There is a little rot above the rear corners, ut nothing that impacts driving or safety. The other sheet metal is sound and original, s far as I can tell, ut may have a beauty wrinkle or two as you can see in the pictures.Mechanically, he car is awesome! 1641cc engine with nice dual carbs and electronic ignition. No tranny issues. Good deep tone muffler. When the engine was rebuilt and upgraded about 22,000 miles ago, he push rod tubes were replaced with the spring type. There is a very minor oil leak from one of the seals on the driver's side (a few drips, ut full disclosure here.) For stopping, ow about 4 wheel disc brakes! Definitely much better than the stock setup. Nice wheels/tires, oo! All electrical items work as well.Other features include a new Alpine CD stereo with Polk marine grade speakers, beautiful mahogany steering wheel, nd a replacement, lmost flawless convertible top and boot. I also have a nice pair of running boards (not pictured) that will be included with the car).One thing to note is that the car has j-pipes and the fan shroud has no ducts, herefore no heat.
