Car description

Hello, am selling my VolksWagon Super Beetle Convertible-Karmann Edition. It is Red with a White top and black interior. The top and interior are in great shape. No tears or rips. Top goes up and down nicely. Comes with the boot which is white also and in great shape. There is no rust on the vehicle. The floor boards are solid. This is a driver's car!!! I would say a #2 condition. It runs and drives great! It had a tuneup in May at the beginning of the season. The plugs and wires were swapped out and the points were cleaned. The clutch is less than six years old so it has a long life ahead of it! The car currently has 70,980 original miles on it. It is a 4 speed transmission. It has air ride shocks in the rear. Custom American Racing Rims.It truly is a great car. You can't go wrong with this one!!! I just don't drive it like I want to and my son is moving so I may be losing my storage space. The car is being sold as is-where is. No warranty is expressed or implied and the winner will be responsible for shipping. $500 is required within 24 hours of winning the auction and the rest of the money can be paid via paypal or cash when picked up.Oh! It has the upgraded 1600 cc engine which has been nicely dressed with a lot of chrome. It looks very nice (see pic). There is also some custom pinstripping done by a local artist, ll freehand. Looks very nice.NADA.com has the average retail value of this car at $14k and Hagerty.com has the value at $16,714 and this is without the Karmann upgrade!!!! These prices are for the stock 1500cc engine with 48hp not the 1600cc engine this car comes with. Plus it is in great driver's shape!!!Let me know if you have any questions, oncerns, ould like to come by and drive it or would like more pics.Thank you,Matthew B Martin
