  • Transmission shifts perfectly and quietly, ynchronizes all gears and does not pop out of 4th or reverse.

  • Clutch is in great condition, oes not slip.
As expected for a 41 year old original and UN-restored car, here are some items to be aware of:
  • The glove compartment lock froze up (mechanically), nd had to be drilled. The door is removed from the hinges temporarily.
  • The rear bench upholstery is distressed, ee in picture.
  • The windshield has a crack in the top center, ehind the rear view mirror, ut not visible from the drivers seat
  • It seems a previous owner installed a CB radio system, nd put the antenna on the roof. The small "stub" from the antenna is still there.
  • Rear window defroster doesn't work. I replaced the relay and confirmed proper wiring, ut the wires in the glass are broken.
  • The paint is rubbed off on a tiny portion of the hood, ee in picture.
  • Some small scratches and minor dings in the paint
  • A little bit of cosmetic rust inside the bumper
A few modifications were made to the engine, o improve durability:
  • Oil filter system installed, eturning oil to the oil cooler relief plug. This increases oil capacity (2.5q > 3.5q) and greatly prolongs engine life.
  • New oil pump (installed with the oil filter kit).
  • spring-loaded aluminum pushrod tubes (to fix leaky tubes).
  • Aluminum pulley with timing marks.
  • The only other work performed was removing the heads to repair a broken stud for the exhaust system, o a new OEM muffler could be installed.
I kept all of the parts (except old pushrod tubes) and they will be included, o you can easily return the engine to OEM specs. No evidence of a previous wrecks or fender benders. All bumper mounts original and intact. (no wrinkling of metal in the trunk) Car has been stored indoors almost the entire time I've owned it (since 2008) This car was purchased originally in Spokane, A in 1974. To keep the car as original as possible, 've decided not to repair the car's few flaws but instead leave it in a "correct" state in case one wishes to perform a proper restoration. It really needs to be in the hands of a collector or someone who wants to do a full restoration. This car is posted on other sites so this ad may disappear without notice.
