This is a van that is mechanically sound. 2 litre flat four engine is strong and doesn't smoke. Great compression. Heads rebuilt about 2,000 miles ago. New in box driveshafts included. Starts great on new starter. Transmission shifts smoothly with no noise. Clutch is in excellent shape. Tires are worn. Newer Optima Red Top starting battery, ellow Top Optima Accessory battery. New brake system, new plumbing and fixtures, ed lighting provided, ut not installed. The wiring has largely been replaced, lthough it is a haywire looking tangle. It is safe and all circuits are fused and safe. Auxiliary on/off switch and starting button. There is a problem with the charging system. Starts and runs great, o smoke at all. When lights are switched on, attery drains. Original fuel injection was replaced by a Weber 32/36 carburetor. Sale includes a nearly-new Weber 32/36 carburetor, ninstalled. Camping equipment for this van is all in excellent shape. Fabric is unworn and unfaded. However, he driver's seat shows wear and fading. The passenger's seat also shows fading, ut is not torn.
