1974 VW Thing in excellent condition. 3 year old restoration that started with a very solid car. Full ground up on rust free car that resulted in a drivable, un, nd custom VW Thing. Car has been driven approximately 2,000 miles since its refurb and enjoyed by the previous owner. Few custom updates to the car include cd player with USB and rear mounted speakers, new vinyl top, ustom piped interior seats (still original seat bases), ull color change to metallic emerald green. All jambs, nderside and lids were changed for a full and correct paint job. Car features period correct Beetle wheels that are color matched and wrapped in brand new rubber. Teak floor inserts have been added for easy cleaning after you leave the beach. Engine fires up quickly and transmission shifts smoothly as it should. Car has nice presentation and has the great ’74 side scoops which add to the awesome boxiness! This car is not all original and doesn’t try to be. If you are a purist, his isn’t your car. It is however very solid, ree of rust, solid driver, nd a lot of fun with top on or off.
