1967 TRIUMPH TR4A IRS CONVERTIBLE. 4-SPEED. OLDER RESTORATION. VERY GOOD DRIVER.

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this attractive TR4A in it's final year of production. This car was just purchased from it's seller in Pennsylvania who owned the car for about 15 years and maintained and improved it as necessary. The car is in it's perfect driver condition for someone who wants something approachable to drive and enjoy now.The bodywork on this car is very good. Panel gapping looks normal and per factory. The body is very decent and straight with no evidence of accidents, except a small older repair to the inner LH front fender. Doors, hood, and trunk all open and close well. Paintwork is older and still very glossy. It's showing some age in the form of some chips from normal use, some shrinking/cracking. Nevertheless, it still looks quite attractive and honest from 5-10 feet and doesn't need repainting yet. Most of the car's brightwork is original and decent. Bumpers are replated, the grille is original and very nice. The windshield is the car's original Triplex and showing some age, but still decent.The car's interior shares the same story here. It's in good all around condition with nicely upholstered vinyl seats. Door panels look original and nice, along with newer armbars. The car carpets are correct loop, but decent and older. The dashboard is lovely with good condition top pad and crash pads, switch plinth, console, good wood. The car has just had it's top frame beautifully restored with a quality new soft top fitted in black crush grain vinyl. The gauges are all functioning except the ammeter.The car's mechanical condition is overall very good to excellent. The engine starts first try on the key and bursts to life with good oil pressure, no smoke, and a nice exhaust note. The gearbox operates well with nice syncros, the clutch and brakes are good, and the suspension is nicely sprung. The engine has plenty of power and propels the car nicely down the road. It's lots of fun. PLEASE SEE DRIVING VIDEO. It's a turn-key, ready to go TR4A with no mechanical issues and feels well maintained.Overall, a lovely driver's condition TR4A IRS in good colors. This car is on the button, ready to be enjoyed, and really doesn't need anything doing to it right now. It's great fun and is superbly attractive and desirable with it's fantastic 1960's Michelotti styling.
