Car description

Offered at NO RESERVE is my hand built TR7 V8 Street - Race - Land Speed - Autocross Car. This little British Coupe does it all. I started with a rust free TR7 coupe (in fact many of the pody panels still have original paint. Here is a partial list of upgrades and improvements:ENGINE:A fresh 3.5 liter TR8 engine with 10.5 to 1 compression pistons topped with 4.0 Rover cylinder heads. Lunati camshaft, Edelbrock aluminum intake and 600cfm carburetor. Aftermarket electronic distributor with Accel yellow jacket wires, 4-2-1 long tube headers and a balanced rotating assembly. dyno tuned.CHASSIS:The chassis features a TR8 K-member with rebuilt TR8 brakes with new Wilwood Master Cylinder. Rebuilt 5 speed manual gear box, clutch and pressure plate were new also. The larger 5 speed rear axle houses a rare 3.64 gear ratio. Competition shocks and springs. There is a custom dual exhaust system with X pipe that terminates in to two SUPERTRAPP tunable mufflers. Simply remove these mufflers with a screw driver at the track and you have open exhaust and are ready to race. Wheels are stock TR8 painted to match the gold stripe with TOYO Proxies. New sway bar bushings and new suspension bushings everywhere.FUEL SYSTEM:New stock fuel tank with Holley Red fuel pump and Speedway canister filter. Additional filter and pressure regulator at carburetor.INTERIOR:Bolt in Auto Power 6 point roll cage with two Kirkey racing seats with 5 point seat belt harness. Dash is stock with additional Innovate AFR gauge and Auto Meter Sport Comp Oil and Temp gauges. Fiberglass rear parcel shelf trimmed to fit roll cage. FULL HEADLINER - this is very difficult to do with a roll cage. Full carpet - easily removed for competition events.BODY:Custom built fiberglass cold air cowl hood using 4" Harwood scoop. Custom built fiberglass rear deck lid. Both hood and deck lid attach with Dzus fasteners. Stock steel hood and trunk included. Car cover included.OTHER FEATURES:Oversize Speedway drag race radiator in stock TR8 location using stock TR8 hoses. Dakota digital tachometer translator.Lights, turn signals, wipers all work.
