Car description

Hello everyone and thanks for taking the time to view my listing. This 84 FJ60 looks phenomenal adorned in its factory Sky Blue exterior paint. It has had one repaint since new and it looks great. There are a few minor imperfections due to it being painted about 10 years ago, but nothing bad at all. This FJ runs great, drives great, shifts great, and is as tight as an FJ with a quarter of the miles. I'd like to take this time to try to describe this FJ from front to back and bottom to top.
Exterior
The exterior on this Land Cruiser is excellent with no sign of rust. All of the body panels appear original and there are no accidents on its history report. It has a clean and clear Mississippi title in my name and the AutoCheck is clean. The front cap is really nice with only a few rock pecks and the paint looks consistent. The bumper is straight and even. The fenders are nice with no rust anywhere......Not even at the bottom edges. The doors are nice with no rust/crust at the bottoms or anywhere else that I can find. The jambs are nice with no rust or pin holes anywhere that I've seen. The inner fender portion that can be seenthrough the inner portion of the front door, looks great with no sign of rot. The center post that can be seen through the rear doors looks great as well with no signs of rust or issues. There is a scratch (about 4") on the drivers side rear door close to the middle. It is through the clear and partially through the base. It has been touched up and isn't "too" noticeable, but if you know where it's at, it's easy to find. The quarter panels are excellent with no rust around the side glass and there is no sign of rust at the bottom of the quarters nor is there any showing on the rocker panels. Just as a reference; when I say no rust, I mean no through holes, no bubbles, and no crustiness. The rear hatch shows no signs of rust and the paint looks good. Between the tailgate and the rear storage space, you can see the metal on the body behind the rear bumper. It shows no signs of rust and looks great. The roof is solid with no signs of rust, but there issome light clear coat peeling on the front portion of the roof just above the windshield. All the glass is original to the truck except for the front windshield. I replaced it due to a rock peck that ran last summer.
Interior
The interior isabsolutely astonishing. In my opinion the seats look better than new. The seats are covered in a very highquality vinyl that fits perfectly. This was done at a high endupholstery shop and isn't just a "pull over" cover. This is the actual material that the seats was covered in. The carpet is very good and clean, but there is a very small tear between the 4 speed shifter and the 4x4 selector shifter. This teardoesn't look bad nor does it jump out at you. It actually lays flat and is only about an inch. The dash is excellent with only very small imperfections and two small cracks thataren't bad. These can be seen in the pictures and are not something that I'd consider an eye sore. The gauges are nice, but the bezel has some spotting/fading. The steering wheel feels as good as new and has no cracks or issues. The headliner ispractically like new and looks fantastic. The doors are perfectly adjusted, they do not leak, and the shut with ease just as they should. I do want to mention that it has an aftermarket cd player/radio and aftermarket speakers through out. They work well and sound good, but the speaker covers look a little ridiculous the way they stick out from the door panels. I'm sure a new speaker grille would fix the problem, but I never worried with it because it all worked so well. The rear shocks that hold up the back glass are a little weak, but they do still barely support it. The tailgate is sturdy and operates just as it should.
Undercarriage
The undercarriage looks good as far as I can tell. The floors are very solid with no signs of rust. The bottom side has been undercoated sometime in its life. I assume it was done when it was painted. It was a good job and I'm sure it's doing its job protecting everything. The factory spare tire looks excellent and has a Michelin tire on it that looks as new. The frame looks good as far as I can tell, but it does have heavy undercoating on it in spots, so Ican't say for certain that the frame is perfect. The brakes have been replaced and operate good. They feel just as they should and have plenty of stopping power. The bottom of the motor has a very slight leak that looks like it'sfront the rear main seal, but it isn't seeping. It is a very slight leak thatdoesn't leave anything on the ground. The transmission is dry and looks fine. Therear end is also dry and looks good. The engine, transmission, and the rear end were serviced by a local shop just a few weeks ago.
Wheels and Tires
The wheels areexcellent and were just refinished due to very minor curbing. The look great now. The tires have 1500 miles on them and are practically new. They are BFGoodrich All Terrains and they ride very smooth. They're not loud and provide a very pleasant driving feel.
Please take time to review the pictures below, so you'll know exactly what this FJ is like in its current condition. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to view all the pictures. I really appreciate you reading and viewing this lengthy listing and I hope it has proved useful in describing this FJ60. I should mention that the only reason that I'm selling it is because Ipurchased a Coronado Beige 71 FJ40 from the originalowner with only 20k miles on it. I never planned on selling this FJ, but Idon't have the space for both, plus my wife would kill me if I kept both of them :) My name is Matt andI'm happy to answer any questions that you mighthave and will beglad to meet you for a test drive at any reasonable time. My cell is 662-416-0900 or feel free to message methrougheBay. Thank you in advance and God bless.
