1973 FJ40 Land Cruiser Rare SURVIVOR. This pristine 1973 Land Cruiser has been handled diligently and respectfully for over 42 years. 69,370 miles. Here's your chance to own a vehicle that has over $30,000 invested in it. Restoration began in April 2013 by Toyota Certified Mechanical and Body Technicians. They replaced the entire floor from firewall to end of tailgate with new metal, new interior paint from floor through dashboard. Although the engine runs and drives good, work to the engine included hose replacements, water pump assembly, freeze plug, new oil pan, rebuilt carburetor, and new Toyota TrueStart battery. Brake shoe kits, sprint tensioners, and drum sub-assembly for all 4 cylinders. Replaced fuel assembly, hoses, fuel filter, new gas tank assembly, carb kit, and fuel send gasket. New upgraded shock absorbers, tires, wheels and hubcaps. Trim replacement including new headliner, handles, weather stripping – entire vehicle, plates and Toyota Land Cruiser ornaments, wiper pivots, door regulator kits, antenna, side view mirrors, brake and clutch pedals, and wiring for lighting. There is not a jumb seat and the odometer and oil gauge do not work.
