Car description

1972 fj40 6cyl. 3spd. 4x4 with disc brakes up front. 3 inch suspension lift, on 33 tires. truck is originally from Colorado. I started refurbishing the truck in 2007 and finished the truck in fall 2009. It was not used much in 2010 and sitting since then in heated shop until this late summer. I wanted to have a street fj40, as I had several of them modified for trail riding/off-roading, but after completion, the stock power train version did not turn me on.With that being said, unfortunately I put in the back building and wasn't seen for quite some time, along with alot of other things. Lol.
I recently sold my business, emptied out the buildings, and now it is time to sort out what I'm going to keep and what I'm not, or better yet, what I want to store or not, as I have limited amount of heated storage space now. I think it is time for some else to have it, and maybe it would be appreciated more than I'm giving it. I drove the truck a little this fall, 10-15 miles, it runs good, drives great. I had to replace the clutch cylinder and battery in it though, as it went bad from sitting. Drive train is all original to the truck. I did bend up a roll cage, rock sliders, and back bumper for it and put Corbeu seats in it with 5pt.harnesses. Fuel tank is original, all gauges work. The truck was in pretty good shape when I got it in 1994, and has been inside since. If it has seen water 5 time since 1994, that would be over guessing, and that would be from the garden hose washing it.This was not used nor built for me to off road or rock crawl. I have other ones for that. This was to be my mall crawler. Lol. I'd be safe to say that it hasn't had 150 miles put on since 1994.....that's sad to say. The paint is a custom blue pearl BC/CC with metal flake in the clear coat. That gives it a really sharp sparkle under the sun light and especially under night lights.
Feel free to contact me by Email or Phone. Thanks, hope somebody will give it a good home.
