1974 TOYOTA Land Cruiser FJ-40

VEHICLE DESCRIPTIONAvailable for auction is a rust-free numbers matching 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40. The FJ has been fully restored and refinished. New OEM parts include but not limited to a new Webber's carburetor, tarter, lternator, adiator, ater pump, oltage regulator, rake master cylinder, rake pressure switch, rake shoes, rums, hoe spring kit and brake lines. The clutch master cylinder and clutch bearings are also new. I replaced a new valve cover gaskets, uel filters, new gas tank and all hoses and belts throughout the engine. Plus new Toyota spark plugs, park plug wires, otor, nd coil ignition. As to the suspension there are new shocks, ie rod boots throughout, teering gear box and steering stabilizer. The ignition cable was replaced plus many more items to complete the restoration. The front and back seats are re-upholstered in marine grade vinyl, LL weather stripping has been replaced around every door and window, new headliner, ll emblems, nbsp; The seat belts are new including shoulder harness seat belts on the front seats. The head lights are new and all turn signal lights! There is a Ramsey 8000lb wench attached to the new front bumper and there is a new rear bumper as well. I purposely did not put a lift on this vehicle to keep it original. I am sure I forgot some of the many items that were attached/replaced but the bottom line is this a 100% rust-free FJ. Typically, J's are notorious for rust along the rear doors, ront doors, ront fender wells and really all over BUT THIS FJ-40 HAS ZERO RUST ON IT!! The engine is original but it is like brand new and runs well. The transmission is excellent and the 4 wheel drive works perfect! There are a few defects behind the back seats where to much rubber was applied to seal it, he front wheel wells are fiberglass to make sure they never rust and the rear heater works but is disconnected due to summer. There are a few very small very minor bumps in the hood paint and I'm sure maybe another bump in the paint somewhere I do not know about. But I say this just to point out perhaps there is a blemish that I do not know about or have never noticed. The work on this FJ was completed by a Toyota certified mechanic and it was a pleasure to restore it the last 18 months.
