Car description

This 1970 Subaru 360 comes from the model’s second-to-last year of production and is powered by an EK32 two-stroke twin paired with a 3-speed manual transaxle with overdrive. The car was recently fitted with a replacement master cylinder and brought to running condition. This Subaru 360 is offered at no reserve in Los Angeles, California with a factory service manual.
The 360 weighed less than 1,000 pounds and featured steel monocoque construction with a fiberglass roof panel and rear-hinged doors. The front hood and passenger-side fender have been repainted a brighter shade than the surrounding bodywork, and there is a hammered-out dent on the driver-side quarter panel. Minor rust holes are present at the bottom of the doors, and the car's trim has been loosely reassembled for presentation and ease of transport.
A crack is present in the windshield, and the mirrors, headlight trim rings, and hubcaps are missing. The car is equipped with an older set of mixed tires as well as aluminum brake drums at all four corners.
The cabin features front bucket seats, vinyl floor coverings, a period radio, and a rear seat base, although the seatback is absent. The floors are shown with the mats removed in the gallery, and a small hole is visible in the driver’s floor pan.
Instrumentation consists of an 80-mph speedometer with fuel level and oil pressure gauges in a common housing. 34k miles are indicated on the 5-digit odometer.
The rear-mounted EK32 two-stroke twin is mounted transversely and sends power to the rear wheels via a 3-speed manual transaxle with overdrive. The fuel tank is missing, although there is a small temporary tank in which the car runs off.

Car is sold with a bill of sale only. It has spent its entire life in Los Angeles and the black plates are included.

My standard disclaimer/mantra for any car regardless of service or price: The car is sold with no warranty. You are buying a used car. Eventually every car will break, if you find one that doesn't please let me know. I do my ABSOLUTE BEST to describe accurately the shape of the car, but keep in mind it is impossible to discuss every detail of a car for better or worse. If ever you encounter an issue I do my best to provide advice, direction or even parts if I have them. Please understand that it is a used car and will have minor signs of use. That means please do not expect a showroom brand new car. Please only bid if you intend to buy. If you would like to have an Ebay 3rd party mechanic service check out the car I MORE than welcome it. Please have the car checked out before bidding and not after, if you intend to use that service. And please, if you would like to utilize this service, contact me with more than a couple days left in the auction so we can arrange schedules. Please check your local laws and registration procedures before buying. Buying over the internet can be scary sometimes! I get it, because I am an enthusiast too!! For that very reason, I am more than happy to answer every and any question you may so you know 100% what you are buying. But, please ask any and all questions ahead of purchase! It is impossible to list every pro and con of a car, I am not an inspection service, and my description does not replace one! It is your responsibility as a buyer to do your due diligence and inspect the car. All sales are final, you are buying as-is, the sky is blue, etc, etc. Sorry to have to give the boring speech!
Please feel free to ask any and all questions!!
