OF NOTE:Here's a 1/2 Ton Studebaker Pickup originally out of North Dakota. The story is that it was used as a Farm Truck and probably had several past owners. Eventually it sat for years and has rust in all the usual places. I am trying to tell all I observed but ask questions on any items.

I've looked the truck over and some areas are solid and good while others (the usual spots) are in need of rebuilding and metal repair. Frame appears original and under carriage is complete. This truck has potential to be restored. Inspect for yourself and assess conditions.

OUTSIDE CONDITION: Is pretty complete and in the original assembled order. From front to back: Front bumper in place, Grill looks relatively undamaged. Front fenders while dented are pretty solid except for some usual rust at the cowl line. Both doors have rust out at the bottoms but are better than many. Rear fenders have some rust in lower areas but overall solid. Yes, they are dented. Bed has rust out at the front but solid in most other places. Tailgate in place needs usual rehab. Heavy duty non stock rear bumper. Hood pretty solid but a dent at rear on driver side. Roof not jumped on or dented inward. Lower door hinges are not connected due to rust out. But lower hinges are there for rebuilding.

INSIDE THE CAB:Front seat frames are there and can be used for rebuilding. The rear glass is loose but still good condition and included. Glass in drivers door is broken. Glass is intact on passenger door and in windshield. Dash is unharmed and not cut up. Old interior cardboard head liner and cab liner cardboard panels are deteriorated and gone. Missing interior door/window handles

ENGINE & SUSPENSION:Pic of Engine Compartment shows the engine is pretty complete. No radiator. I haven never started and condition of engine is not known. Expect rebuilding if you want to use it. Transmission is 4 speed on floor but it originally came with 3 speed on column as evidenced by the old on column shifter (see pic).

This is most all I can recall. Of course there are probably other little things to ask. The truck is on 4 good tires that stay inflated so no issues rolling, loading and steering. The brakes do not work.
