Stunning, well documented, award winning and a two-time TV celebrity, owning this beauty will give you plenty to talk about and most importantly, enjoy. This Golden Hawk received a "Six Figure" restoration by "The Guild of Automotive Restorers" in 2003/2004 and was featured/documented on the TV Show "Restoration Garage" in 2 segments of the Velocity Channel. Currently protected and preserved as part of a prominent Texas auto collection. One of only 4,356 produced, ready to go...

Upon it's initial completion, the car was driven to the International Studebaker Meet in Charlotte, North Carolina. At this event it won First place in its class with a score of 385 out of 400.Points were lost (2) for not original floor mats, (2) for spare wheel cover (apparently it was sold without one originally), (2) not original emblems on hub caps and (9) points were lost for presentation. Given that they drove the car from Ontario to North Carolina (12+/- HRS). The judges said it was "dusty”. Even still, it placed higher than cars that were trailered... (The Guild - Actual Quotes)

Also noted, a "Johnny Lightning" die cast model for the 57 Studebaker Hawk was modeled after this "actual car" and several of those die-cast models, trophies/awards and documents are included...
