Car description

1950 Studebaker
Factory Suicide 4 door
Split windows F & R
Bullet Nose

LOW Realistic reserve !! We want to sell vehicles, not sit on them
THIS CAR was last tagged here in Tucson in 1992.
Have something NO ONE else in your city will see at the next car show or event !
We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller
If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont
bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on
wondering if we are real or not.
FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback
on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also
shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating
for a reason,... try trusting it.
The is a lovely example of a 1950 Studebaker Champion 4dr and if you are going to have
a 4 dr, the only type would be factory suicide doors. Also one of the last yrs for the
split front and rear windows. Very complete, original Survivor of sorts. This car has
been in Az pretty much its whole life. It took Arizona and mother nature 67 yrs to get this
patina look that is getting more popular by the day. Everyone can have a nicely restored
whatever, but drive something like this to the next car event or show and the crowd will
navigate your way right away. Get it up to daily driver specs, do some interior work and
drive it like that OR you could also Resto-Mod or Ratrod it as well somewhat. The
original paint (or whats left of it), very rust and rot free for a 67 yr old car.
All the glass is good, usable and the body is really straight.
So far I put in a battery, poured a little gas down the carb, turn the key to the ON position
and push on the starter switch on the floor AND it fired right up and purred till the gas
was gone. I did this several times and the motor is great. It will need new hoses and possibly
a water pump too Im sure. but there is no smoke or knocking. Clean out the gas tank, install
a fuel pump, maybe clean out the carb and Im sure it would run. Brakes need to be bled
for sure from sitting so long and may need some other work from sitting.
LOTS of surface rust as you can see and minor rot to a few spots on the floor from the inside
out. But look close at the pics, its more of a restorable survivor
then you might expect, with a REALLY LOW reserve. OR even better,
swap in a 5.0, Coyote or LS Motor
and OD trans.

who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.

DRIVETRAIN: factory original right now 6 cyl.
I poured some gas down the carb, hit starter button on the floor
starts right up and idles great till the gas is gone. I dripping gas
down the carb too for about a minute, motor sounds good.
Trans and rearend there and original and should be fine too.
If you gave it a good source of fuel (clean tank) and fuel pump, it
should run fine. I may actually try to do that this week.
Perfect for a modern swap with a cool old look or Restomod.

INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the interior of this car is pretty well
worn out and probably the first thing you would want to repair. Restore the
interior and take care of all the mechanics and drive it that way !
The floors are very solid as are the rockers. A few spots on the floor have
some pin holes but they are not soft. Best I can tell its complete inside with
little to no pitting on the chrome.

EXTERIOR:the body pretty straight for its age, but this is a 90%
rot FREE AZ desert survivor. LOTS of Az Patina and surface rust, yes.
Windows are all there . Door panels are in the trunk for making
new ones. All the stainless on the bottom of the panels is still there
too, which is awesome for making your new ones.
fine too. Actual rot is almost non existent on the body.
Leave the body and paint the way it is, polish the trim up and fix the rest!
I dont have the headlight rings, but shouldnt be too hard to find.
Chrome is in really nice shape for its age.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see .. but old.
It Im sure will need some work soon like bushings etc.
Car rolls and steers, but no brakes, yet. Going to try to bleed them this week
too. Tires are WAY old... 3 match, 1 does not.
All the hubcaps are in the trunk too.
Minimal rust under the car, making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!

Check out ALL the pics below ----->

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.

There you have it, probably The BEST represented Studes on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort
of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
Email me for a quote for shipping.
Keep in mind, this is not a restored car !!

SHIPS AS AN INOP for now..but rolls and steers !
Keep you updated on the actual running part in a few days.
