Car description

ROLLS ROYCE SILVER CLOUD 1959. LEFT DRIVE ! FACTORY AIR . RROC OWNER Up for auction is my SUPER solid 1959 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud. Built late in 1958 and delivered in April 1959 to Mr Nate Rosasco. the owner of the "Northwestern Golf Company" and also of four. yes four Rolls Royce Motor cars. In its heyday Northwestern was the largest golf club company in the world. Nate was one of life`s true characters and decorated his office in elaborate Louis XVI style furnishings and always dressed to the nines. He was chauffeur driven in a Silver Cloud or Rolls Royce limousine everywhere he went. This is one of the four he owned at that time. I have the original Chassis Cards / build sheets with all specifications and of course the original owners name. This really is a very good solid car which I have recently invested many thousands of dollars on to bring it to its current condition and state of drivability. Regretfully I am selling this lovely car in order to pour obscene amounts of money into the restoration my recently acquired Rolls Royce Phantom V. a car I simply could not live without upon viewing. I think 'Mad as a March Hare' is the correct way to describe my thinking at this point! If you are a truly serious buyer looking for a VERY good. solid and original car as opposed to a cheap rust bucket Silver Cloud that has had a quick makeover to sell it then please call me on 864 299 0278Renovations performed in the last three months include a completely rebuilt transmission. four brand new front brake cylinders. two rebuilt rear wheel cylinders. five brand new flexible hydraulic hoses. two brand new master cylinders. all new brake shoes. machined brake drums. new front wheel bearings. rebuilt brake friction servo. new correct oil filter and oil change. new spark plugs. new radiator fan. rebuilt starter motor. all four shock absorber dampers checked and refilled with ATF. headlamp and turn signal bulbs replaced. The list is like the Energizer Bunny. it just keeps going and going! Oh yes I nearly forgot that the bumpers were just re chromed last month. oh. and seat belts fitted also. Oh. and a brand new $125 battery just yesterday! Thousands upon thousands of dollars have been invested to get this Grand Old Dame in very good reliable running order. An expert Rolls Mechanic road tested the old girl just yesterday and was impressed. She came equipped with the factory trunk mounted air conditioner and though it may need some updating IMHO. everything is there and the blower fans and compressor do indeed work. To sum up this is a very good car that has the makings of a GREAT car with a little further cosmetic work and investment. Some good paint restoration will make this motorcar a showpiece. I have been a member of the Rolls Royce Owners club for over 40 years now and learned to drive in a Bentley MK VI saloon my father owned back when we lived in California. I fully understand that everyone is concerned with the integrity of those they are dealing with and to that end please check my business Ebay name STANDART that has earned over 5. 00 positive feedbacks thus far. Happy bidding.
