SummaryThis auction is for a Factory Five RacingGTM Generation II Kit Car, with all of the kit options (AC, Carbon fiber parts, etc.), and Corvette donor parts from a 2003 Corvette, including the Corvette 400HP LS1, all wiring, accessories, etc. and some new Corvette parts like the rear brake rotors, axle bearings, etc. This is a great way to start in on the beautiful FFR GTM kit: No need to wait for the manufacturer to build your kit, no need to locate a donor car and spend the time to take all the parts off, discounted price when considering all the options and parts, potential savings over the $2000 trucking fee and a little bit of a head start in assembly but not too much that you can't say that you built the whole car! Additionally, this is a Gen II car, which has many improvements and is easier to finish than the Gen I kit.
Work completed on this kitI have only started building the kit, riveting some of the closeout panels in place and bolting suspension parts on. The kit is nearly to the stage where it can be rolled around on thedonor Corvette wheels and tires (pictured and included.)As is, it can easily be loaded onto a flat bed car hauler or into the back of a 20' UHaul.

I can also email you a spreadsheet showing every Corvette donor part that it is required to build this car - all are included with the possible exception of the plastic fuel tanks. (The fuel pumps and lines are included and I recently verified they are in a bin, I just did not see the fuel tanks when I went through and verified I had everything for this auction.)
Donor car informationI bought the donor car 'as is' and do not have mileage information, as I couldn't get the instrument cluster working in the car. I personally removed all the parts from this car, including the engine, ECU, wiring harness, etc. I drained the oil to check for water (there was no water), drained the coolant and have kept the engine inside and bagged since then. The car was an automatic transmission donor, so the engine comes with a flexplate, not a LS1 flywheel/clutch. The engine wiring harness, ECU, throttle pedal and drive by wire control box are all included!
Engine detailsThe engine is a LS1 from a 2003 Corvette 50th anniversary base edition, not the Z06/400 HP variant. It is complete from oil pan to ignition coils, exhaust manifolds to accessories (including the big 3, AC compressor, alternator and power steering.) The engine does not have a separate bill of sale; it was part of the donor car.
Transaxle detailsA transaxle is not included in this auction.The kit includes the FFR supplied parts for running a Porsche transaxle. I don't believe the Mendeola option was refined enough to be listed as an option when ordering the kit but that won't stop you from using it, you just won't need the adapter plate, flywheel, axles, etc. that is included in this auction. From the details I have about the Mendeola options, I wouldn't hesitate to go that route over a weaker upside down Porsche box with the wrong gear ratios, although I did buy this car to design my own transaxle, so I'm slightly biased :).
Getting this kit home!The buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup. Because this is a kit plus many parts, it can't be shipped using the eBay uShip service. I can't crate all of the boxes up for international shipping either, but you are welcome to do this if you make the arrangements and show up in person to pay and load everything.Contact me through eBay before bidding so we can discuss pickup arrangements!
In addition to the parts shown in the pictures, there are 20 unopened boxes of parts that are part of the kit that will easily fill half of a full size pickup bed 2' high.The Corvette motor is drained of fluids and is bolted to a wood platform for easy hauling. It can also be bolted into the back of the kit car frame for transport depending on how much floor space you have available. I'll work with you to make sure you have enough room to haul everything and will gladlyprovide loading help, ratchet straps, car attachment point straps that work in a UHaul, and whatever else I can to get you loaded and to make sure your kit makes it to its new home without damage!
The kit and parts are located 25 minutes south of both DFW and DAL airports in the Dallas, TX area. I can make time to pick you up from either airport and/or get you to a UHaul location.

  • What wiring harness is included, if any (painless etc)? The factory engine harness, the DBW harness, the ODBII port and wires and the FFR supplied Painless wiring harness are all included.
  • What sizes are the Corvette and F14 wheels? The Corvette wheels are factory size 17x8.5 and 18x9.5. The F14 wheels are 18x9 and 18x12. The FFR supplied rear spacers are included so you can run the Corvette wheels with the rear spacers or the wide wheels without the spacers.
  • What exhaust comes with the kit? The FFR 2001-2004 LS1 exhaust cat pipes are included. This is the straight H pipe setup, not the Kooks curved X pipe exhaust.
  • Do you have the manufacturers certificate of origin? Yes, the COO is included.
