Car description

1979 Porsche 911SC. Vin 678-276-7045. 115,505 Miles. 5-Speed Manual Transmission. Light Blue Metallic (Code 301). Cork Interior. Clean Title. Books, Manuals, Extensive Service Records, 3 Keys, Tools, Jack and a Spare. This gorgeous looking ’79 911SC comes in the most beautiful and emanating color of Light Blue Metallic, which is quite rare. The condition of the paint is top notch with only a few small chips on the front nose of the car. The chrome pieces around the windows and other areas are in top shape, with no signs of pitting. The Cork Interior color is a wonderful match to the Light Blue exterior, and it is this combination that makes this car much more desirable and unique. The Cork interior has been refurbished and is overall in great shape! The dashboard, the door panels, and the rear seats look brand new. The front seats are super nice as well and show very minimal wear. All the gauges and electronics work, with the exception of the AC. The air does blow, but it's not cold. Looking at the AC compressor, it's missing a belt, so perhaps that's where the problem is and it could be an easy fix. Both the engine and the front compartment are in order and have been nicely kept. The front battery pan is solid, with no signs of rust. The factory Fuchs wheels are nice and shiny, and are fitted with 3 year old Yokohama tires that have plenty of tread left. The overall mechanics and performance of this 911 are very good. The car starts right up and has a nice steady idle. The motor has a good strong pull, the car does not smoke, and the clutch feels good. The shifting action is very smooth with only a little crunch noise present going into 2nd gear. However, this does not affect the shifting action and nothing has to be forced. According to the service records and Porsche Maintenance Manual, the car was sold new to a doctor out of Englewood, CO, in 1979. In the late 80's he sold the vehicle to another gent from Colorado who kept it until 2012, with about 107,500 miles on the clock. The car then traveled to Northern California where it remained until we brought it to our dealership in Oakwood, GA. There is a hefty stack of service receipts and Porsche Maintenance Stamps, which fully document this car’s journey. There is also a little notebook with handwritten notes, documenting the service, mileage and gas consumption from 1979 - 1996. Collector car financing available at competitive rates.
