Car description

Thanks for watching my auction. Life has seasons. And, it is a time for me to let this Porsche go - time to simplify.
Classic Porsche is rare. Classic Porschew/ convertible is more unique, and Porsche convertible w/ turbo is rare investment. Classic Porsche is known by 3 distinctiveness -shape, sound, and power(until 1989). Over the years,I owned 6 Porsches and tried to combine all three uniqueness. And, this is the best, expressing its uniqueness and its value, and is also maintenance-friendly. You still can find many Porsche parts in Ebay motors. This may be one of most unique Porsches available in the market for features and price.
This Porsche comes with 3.3L engine (still available in Ebay around $34,000) and K27 turbo w/ 6 speed short-stick manual transmission while displaying the post 1996 year modern-interior, and executesabout 500 HP. It is powerful enough to drive in race-track but smooth enough to handle all corners of local street like Honda Accord because of its unique set-up, according to my experience of G50 transmission and classic interior from previous Porsches.
This Porsche is fun, fancy and powerful w/ the legendary appearance of classic body. When sitting in the car, unlike modern BMW 650 convertible, you are surroundedby the rumbling air-cool sound, yet when cruising and turbo kicks in, executionof its power w/ roaring pushes your head back as if flying in the cockpit of airplane. (HD is likewise fun but don't have such power or is dangerous.) Yet, air-cool turbo driving may require some skills. Or occur turbo-lags and ping. It is a head-turner for many when driving and parking.
However, I don't recommend classic Porsche turbo to everyone unless you have an experienced mechanic as a friend. Or dealer-maintenance only will be costly because of its age. Yet I found that for most experienced mechanics, air-cool model is simpler for repair than later models with complicated software. Also,A/C compressor as well as convertible-top automatic-parts are removed to make the car lighter.
For history, this was originally 1992 Targa, but after was stolen and recovered in 1994 in AL with power-train missing, it was converted to convertible with the current set up.
The car drives and functions very well for daily drive. I maintained thoroughly whenever there was issues. In addition to all regular maintenance, I changed the clutch about 3 years ago and put only about 1,000 miles meanwhile. The top was also changed about 3 months ago and has 3 year warranty. It has current CA registration.
Feel free to contact me for question. Regardlessly, goods are meaningless and come and go. Yet, if you like to add the unique experience of this metallic beauty, it may be worthwhile for the investment because it is rare and will give you the return of smile and value. Thanks, again for checking my auction. all the best,
