Car description

Powertech Select Motorcars has a real treat here... A really nice, widebody RSR style Outlaw build with an incredible 3.5 liter engine.
The factory Guards Red 1977 911S sunroof coupe was acquired by the current owner in March, 2015 showing only 58k miles on it. The end result is a RSR / Turbo “outlaw” tribute build that was fitted with wide front and rear steel fender flares.
This build is powered by a newly ground-up built 3.5 liter twin MSD plug motor (that started as a 3.0 liter) with 50mm PMO carbs, fitted with OEM Boxster brake upgrade kit on adjustable Koni / Terret Engineering / Rebel Racing composite suspension. Weighing approx. 2240lbs, it is a thrill to drive.
The heart of it all – the engine. Designed and built by William Knight from William Knight Racing and “finalized / tweaked and dynod” by Dick Elverud from NW Machine Products, this is a custom beauty pushing out approx 105hp/liter with a noticeable and hard pulling powerband in the mid and upper range – perfect for the road and track.
The car resided in the Dallas, Texas area during 99% of the build, and was shipped to Brooklyn, NY when the owner relocated for work in 2017 and since has received some final carb tuning by the folks at Powertech. In April 2018, they also dyno'd the car resulting in 297 HP and 246 ft/lb to the wheels.

In preparation for this sale, they performed a leakdown test in Oct 2018 showing the following:
Cylinder #1: 1%
Cylinder #2: 2%
Cylinder #3: 1%
Cylinder #4: 2%
Cylinder #5: 3%
Cylinder #6: 2%
In all, the car has done about 1k miles since the new engine build.

The speedometer/odometer needed to be replaced once the new engine was installed, therefore the car will be sold with a NJ title stating "Not the Actual Mileage" though it is believed to be close to the mileage currently on the odometer.
We pointed out any significant chips/imperfections that we detected. Note that in addition to what is shown, there is what appears to be some contamination/bubbling in the paint in the rear quarter panels where the flares were added, which was not possible to photograph.
Here are a couple of items that the owner would address if he would be keeping it:
•Interior: Recaro XLs, would upholster with better materials.
•Knee pad: Not done to the quality of the rest of the car, planned on re-doing
This car looks fantastically mean, sounds great and is an outstanding drive. You can not replicate this car for anywhere near the listing price!
