Car description

NO RESERVE AUCTION

Survivor Car. Rust and accident free 1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa for sale. I've owned this car for about a year and I'm selling this and my 1974 BMW 2002 Tii because I just purchased a 1960 356 Porsche.

I purchased this well documented car from the 3rd owner when it had 103k miles and it now has 108k miles. The first owner (Jerry Mathers, AKA "The Beaver") was from Southern California and the second owner who purchased the car in 2009 was an elderly owner from Illinois who reportedly drove the car about 1k miles in his years of ownership. After his death, his son sold it in 2014 to the 3rd owner, a fighter pilot from Texas.

The pilot did his own maintenance on the car and had completed the following during his ownership. I did not put the normal maintenance on here. Starter, sway Bar and drop link, timing chain tensioners, drivers side window motor, Retro Air A/C system, accumulator, 02 sensor and battery.

After I purchased the car (2017) I drove it from Texas to North Carolina. During my ownership, I?ve had the following completed. Front wheel bearings, four new tires and four-wheel alignment, the whole shifter linkage system and full service to include valve adjustment, plugs, wires, oil, intake boot, intake manifold gasket, and air mass meter boot. The car has ZERO leaks. I also had the Targa top professionally refurbished. I have over 7k in this car this year and I would drive cross country in a second. The AC system works well but it only has three vents. It was updated but is still over 30 years old. Original took kit in the car.The car drives like a dream, pulls strong and shifts great without popping out of gear. The breaks were inspected and are in good shape. This is the car to have as it can be used as a daily driver. It has no needs unless you want to paint it.

The car is accident and rust free. The car has never been disassembled. The original paint is crazed, and I love it because it confirms that the car is totally rust and accident free. I do not have to worry about rock chips. It looks like the front seats have been recovered and there are no rips, tears or wear spots on it. The floors are solid and rust free. All switches, lights, blinkers, wipers, washers etc. work and it is only missing the cigarette lighter. The dash is crack free as is all paneling on the car. As you can see from the photos that this is a rust free and genuine car that I an not trying to hide anything. The price is below book and the lowest priced car in this condition on the internet that I can find.

Please call me at 503-970-2276 (Portland OR number, but I live in North Carolina) if you have any questions.
