1986 Porsche 911 Targa 89,261 Miles Guards Red Flat 6 Cylinder Engine 3.2L/193

This custom built air cooled 1986 Carrera Targa is the opitomy of cool! One day about four years ago while dropping my ten year old son off at a new buddies house, together we spied in the garage who we now call "Scarlett" (affectionately med by Collin). When we met his buddies dad we got the scoop on this very well sorted, numbers matching (factory air cooled 3.2), 1986 911 targa (with COA). It had Just ticked over 88,600 miles... (currently 89,886 miles), and you could tell it had been used, and unrestored with a few dings, and scratches. However it had a good history having been mechanically cared for with decent history known for about 20 years or so., I mentioned we (Collin and I), would be interested in it if he had an interest in moving on someday. I was looking for a Father son project to get share in my Porsche passion. One day we got the call and after a week or so we had our canvas. We took creative license and Outlawed the look, to a like RS style, with eliminating the factory impact bumper, and opting for a light weight custom fiberglass option. to accommodate the look we produced a custom exhaust (which has a nice note), all while completely dissembling the car re-painting it in it's original Guards Red. In addition the car has had a complete nut and bolt work up by master Porsche technician Doug Turnbull. We think she looks very cool. All work Just completed 9/2017, all factory parts go along with the sale, along with good records. Over $30,000 invested in refreshening alone.
