Car description

1990 Porsche 911 C4(AWD) coupe
5-speed gearbox
Black on Black
122,xxx Miles

Overview:

I’m the second registered owner of this 964.I purchased it from a dealer in NY who aquired it from the original owner who owned the car for over 25 years. When I bought it a little over a year ago, I was just looking for a nice little stock 964 to have some fun with until my other 911 project was complete. Unfortunately for my wallet, I like to tinker. In addition to some performance and asthetic upgrades I also had a significant amount of maintenance performed on the car during my ownership. The car has been an absolute blast to own and the next owner will have a very well sorted car. The car is still mostly stock with some bolt on goodies. With the wheel/tire combo and suspension upgrades the car feels like its on rails. With the upgraded exhaust and Steve Wong chip, the engine comes alive and sound great. Its well documented that these performance add ons bring the crank horsepower to around 280-290HP. As most Enthusiasts know, the 964 manual coupes are getting harder to find as many of them are being widened, backdated, Rallyed, etc. so this is an opportunity to pick up a good driver+ quality car at a fair price. In the one year+ that I’ve owned the car I have spent almost $14K(Have extensive receipts) on upgrades and maintenance items to make this a really fun, dependable, and good looking car.

Maintenance Performed:

-Replaced many miscellaneos cracked or missing plastic parts and switches
-Replaced leaking upper/lower oil tank hoses +oil Change
-Replaced rear Brake rotors and pads
-Replaced ignition Coils
-Replaced Mixing flap motor
-New AC Compressor
-Suspension replaced
-Replaced front tie rod ends
-4 wheel alignment
Overhauled complete ABS/AWD system:
-Rebuilt ABS Pump
-Flushed entire ABS system
-Replaced ABS pressure acculmulator
-Replaced ABS pressure switch
-Replaced ABS sensor Harness
-Replaced ABS relay, Brake Booster Relay, Fuel Pump/DME Relay
-Replaced OEM Accelerometers with Solid State version

Upgrades(Performance/Asthetic):

-17x7x9 Porsche 10 spoke wheels(Powder Coated Bronze)+Conti DW Tires
-OEM Porsche 993 Aero mirrors-power and work correctly
-Bilstein B6 shocks/struts
-H&R springs
-Schnell Cat Bybas+J-pipe
-Steve Wong Chip

**All work was performed by Werks11 in Temple,Texas.

Overview of car:

This a a clean, strong running car with only 120K miles on the clock. It looks good, drives good, and gets noticed wherever you go. This is not a show car/garage queen but a nice Porsche you can reliably drive without the fear of a rock chip. You can use this car for what it was built for, Driving. For an almost 30 year old car its in pretty darn good shape. The paint is driver quality but very presentable and the interior is in nice shape.

The Good:

-It’s a black on black 964 manual coupe…its an awesome car thats fun to drive!
-I’ve done A LOT of the major system maintenance. Good luck finding a C4 with a completely overhauled ABS/PDAS system $$$
-Lots of power and sounds great
-Upgraded wheels are perfect + I have the old D90’s
-No system error lights or warning lights(everythings been adressed!)

Not as good:

-It’s a 964 so it drips some oil, but its not too bad. Ony needed to top the oil off once during my ownership and that’s very normal.
-It does a have a rear end collision on the Carmax report but otherwise clean title
-The A/C just recently stopped blowing cold which makes me think there may be a very small leak. The A/C system was overhauled under my ownership and was blowing cold.
