This is a beautiful 1971 Porsche 911E Targa, that has recently been restored to its original color scheme of Ivory white over black. This car spent all its years in the dry climate of CA. The car has a correct year 911E engine but not matching numbers. It comes complete with MFI, and a period correct 901 5-speed transmission. I owned this car for several years. Drove it for 6 months and decided to do a bare metal restoration. Removed the 911s motor and replaced it with a correct year911Eengine. Car is not complete it needs to be finished everything is there to complete it.
The car has received a comprehensive restoration that was just completed, which included the following:
- Complete bare metal glass out paint in the original color
- New rubber seals throughout the car
- re-chromed brightwork + door handles
- New suspension bushings throughout
- New front and rear shocks
- Professionally restored targa top
- New rear wheel bearings
- New heat exchangers- New fuel Injectors MFI- New exhaust muffler
- Restored brake system, with rebuilt calipers and new rotors
- New carpet- Cleaned and sealed the gas tank
- Completely new upholstery inside
- Restored original door pockets- Updated H4 headlights- New clutch cable that needs to be installed
- Paperwork
- It has aluminum trailing arms
- Clear California title in my name
- I'm sure I'm forgetting something.- Rebuild pedal cluster
