Car description

You are bidding on a 1979 911 sc "Turbo look" sunroof coupe with 128. xx original miles. Adult driven. non smoker car. It has many of the important upgrades such as a completely new air conditioning system (compressor. dryer. nbsp; hoses. front motor). It was installed in the fall. I have not had the system charged yet due to it being winter. Upgraded starter. new fuel pump. fuel filter. k&n air filter. new windshield. new front struts. tires are about a year old with very little mileage on them. The wheels are mid 1990's model turbo wheels. and a whale tail that was replaced in 2007. The clutch was replaced about 40. 00 miles ago. Most importantly it has the carrera tensioner upgrade. also the vented turbo valve covers. The carpeting and sun roof seal was replaced by the dealership in 2008 and looks like new. All panels are strait. no dents that I have seen. I have owned this car for about 9 years. I used it as a second vehicle and a weekend driver. I have had to use it as my daily driver for the past couple of months now due to my primary vehicle breaking down. 2 weeks ago the steering wheel lock housing broke. So right now the cars ignition switch has been separated from the lock housing so the car can be started with a screw driver turning the ignition switch. See the pics. under left side of the dashboard is the ignition switch. I need to sell the car so I will not be replacing it. A new one is $600 so you know. The car has original paint and could use a new one. Still looks great for a 35 year old paint job but the paint is flat and faded. The window motors are weak but still work. The seats have been rebuilt in 2008. but the vinyl seat covers that are original to the car have begun to dry and split in the seems. The cloth center is perfect on both seats. No tears. burns. or holes. The back seats are also in perfect condition. The overall condition of the interior is excellent. I was hoping to completely restore this 911 but I need to sell it. The winning bidder will not be disappointed with this Porsche. The transmission shifts smooth. engine runs great. pulls hard in every gear. car drives and handles perfect. If you have any questions or you would like to see more pics please feel free to ask. I am trying to get all the important information on here but I might have missed something. I am a strait forward seller and am not holding any information back about the vehicle. I love this car and have always taken very good care of it. hate to sell it. I also have a folder of maintenance receipts that date back to the early 1980's for the work that has been done to the vehicle over the years. There is no rust on the underbelly of the car. but slight surface rust around the sunroof seal. see pics. No rot or cancer. As of this post the car has 128. 11 miles. I will be driving the vehicle locally as this auction is on-going. so the miles will be a little higher when you come to pick up the carThe car is being sold as-is. no returns. The vehicle is located in Daytona Beach. FL. The buyer is responsible for pick up. I accept cash. PayPal. or a certified bank check
